After years of trying to align my mirrors with blue tape and a lot of time!! This works great, fit great on my 60w machine, laser was bright and made calibration simple and precise now I can get a great cut any where on my bed!! This product is a must, wish I found it sooner!! Thankyou

Worthless, light beam is too large for you to be able to use this to align your mirrors on your CO2 laser. Don’t buy it! It doesn’t work!

The low reviews seem to be because it did not fit their systems. Also, the battery included was dying, so the red light wasn't too bright until i replaced it (1632 3v). After replacing the battery, aligned my mirrors in less than 5 min. DEFINITIVELY worth the cost vs manually aligning the mirrors. Also, shipped very fast, (received in 4 days) even though Amazon noted a 12 day delivery time.

The device's red LED laser beam is neither collinear or parallel to the device's own physical axis and thus can not be aligned to your laser's actual optical path defeating the entire point of the device (I tested this in two ways: I placed the device in a lathe chuck and then hand-rotated the chuck as I watched the red dot take a 6mm circular path at a distance of 80cm. To rule out run-out in my lathe chuck, I used a precision V-block mounted in a vice on my vertical mill, then rested the round body of the device in the "V" and rotated it as I observed the same 6mm run-out 80cm away. The device is useless) Complaint 2: Because of shoddy machining and burrs on the threads, the device would, initially, not thread into my laser (a 100 watt, No brand, red and black, Omtech look-alike). I needed to use a thread cleanup file (27tpi) to rid the threads of machining burrs in order to get the device to thread in properly. Complaint 3: The red dot it produces is very oblong, 1.5mm x .8mm at 80cm.

This fits perfectly with a 40"X63" 150W monport head. I am not sure why there are so many reviews claiming it is too dim. That is simply not the case. The laser is very bright, and appears as a very small focused dot as a laser should... I would suggest you put new batteries in after purchase, as most items shipped with coin cells installed are going to be partially depleted upon arrival.

I'm sure this is a fine laser but it would not stay more than about 5 mins during the alignment of our new laser engraver and then the light would just fall off to nothing (can't be seen). We thought that the battery was at fault so we ordered more of them from amazon, only to find that they did the exact same thing. So back this thing goes.....and then we ordered a green light LED laser only to have that not work properly so we are getting a replacement for that as well. We did order a larger more heavy duty laser which we had to build an adapter for on our lathe which does work quit well. As for this item we sent it back for a refund and again, I'm sure it is a good laser diode, we just didn't have good luck with it.

I picked this up for a red/black OMtech 60w laser and thought this would work as it says it should. It does not fit, the red light laser threads are 21.73mm wide while the air nozzle where this should thread into is only 19.50mm wide. I am going to try and come up with a 3d printed solution to connect these but Omtech should really stop advertising this as working with their 60W as it does not fit.
