Shapley's Original M-T-G Plus Oil (32 fl.oz)

My horses get cannon fungus each year that is difficult to get rid of and grows to be very painful if I don't treat it. This product is the only natural remedy that actually works on it. I just put some onto the cannons after each bath and they haven't had a problem since! I also use it on the dock of their tails if they rub them, which is very soothing and takes the itch away. It moisturizes the skin and helps the tail grow thick and stay tangle free. After I saw what a help it was for the horses, I started using it on my dog too who gets dry, itchy skin from allergies. I know she's grateful for the relief and I love the effect it has on her coat! The only issue I have with it is that is does have a strong smokey smell from the charcoal in it so I use it sparingly on the dog unless I want my house to smell like a campfire

Every dog is different, just like us. Some dogs , like pits are more prone to allergies, yeast, etc. My blue nose has had skin issues since he was 3 yrs old. He is 8 now and still has problems on occasion. A friend told me to try this, he swore by it and insisted i try it.. Funny, most vets have never heard of it, mine was amazed what it did in only a weeks time. My pit was going bald due to a horrible yeast thing, he was taking 3 meds and they were not helping. I covered him with this stinky stuff and left in on each time for 1.5 days. By the end of the first week, he began growing back the hair he had lost on his back. By the end of second week, nobody could believe it. As u can see in the before / after pics, there is no question about it.. It does work on some dogs like mine, but that doesn't mean it will work on every dog. It clears him up most of the time, but i do use a anti fungal shampoo on him before i use this. Diet is a big factor as well, he likes to beg when friends come over and gets too much junk from them. That certainly does not help him, but this stuff does. I hope this helps someone who has spent a fortune on vets and meds to no avail. It is worth 20.00 to try it, for me it was the best 20.00 i ever spent on him.

I took on two horses to my ranch that one came with the rain rot from her head to her tail! well this is the product that i will always have on hand. I use one bottle on her and she cleared up in no time . Her coat is silky shiny and she is not itching like she was . One of my other horses had old scars on her legs , i thought why not ... Well scars are gone ! hair grew back . I ordered another bottle to have on hand for scrapes etc.... highly recommended

Compared to the original formula does smell better. Smells a bit like burnt bacon. We have had many weeks of wet weather and multiple horses fighting scratches and rain rot. This seems to be helping, seems soothing to raw areas and helps protect and soften scabs. It does draw dirt a bit and we have had to be vigilant. Miss a day and more scabs, though no heat or swelling.

Different things work for different horses. This one works good for my horse. I'm not sure what the original smells like but this one doesn't smell like roses either. It kinda stinks LOL. Still, it is a great product and is a no doubts about it, five stars.

I got this product for my baby she was suffering from extensive dry scalp allergies all over and hair loss put this on her thinking another product that I might have to put under the sink with the rest,but let me tell you I’m a believer 3 days later she’s not shedding as much no more dry scalp her skin allergies almost gone this stuff is a miracle worker saved me 350 dollars from the vet omg thanks.the smell is bad like bacon but this stuff really works.I’m a happy mom

Works on our dogs rashes.

It’s not a bad product I just don’t like how oil mixes w my dogs fur and how gross it looks. I do think it helped to minimize surgical scars. The hair around the scar started to grow back.
