[OLED] for iPhone Xs Screen Replacement 5.8 Inch [NOT LCD] Display 3D Touch Frame Assembly Digitizer for Model A1920, A2097, A2098, A2100, with Repair Tool

So my son dropped his phone, shattered screen and I found this on Amazon. Purchase it and said what the heck, $50 and it comes with everything to replace. Let me try. EZPZ! Just got to have patience and a sturdy hand for the microscopic screws lol. The screen quality is not 1:1 to Apples but you can only tell when the brightness is turned alllll the way down. The touch display works perfect. 10/10 would buy again.

It worked for a couple of months then the screen started acting up no I can’t even use my cellphone anymore. ☹️

This one looks and feels like the OEM screen. After issues with cheaper LCD screens I wish I would have purchased this first.

False description this is not an OLED screen, but rather an LCD screen meaning you don’t get true blacks. Keep in mind that this screen is also much thicker than the original so you might have issues with certain cases. The basil of the screen are much thicker as well, especially the chin. definitely a temporary fix.

The screen I received has a very bad display. The first thing I noticed was a ghosting effect where I would see an afterimage of what was on my screen before I swiped or scrolled. After a couple seconds it disappears. The screen also performs very poorly in low brightness. Colors are completely washed out and there is a green color shift. Looks really bad when using low brightness in the dark. The display visually seems to be further away from the touch screen than my original. The glass might be thicker? Installation was smooth and touch functionality is good but 3D Touch is not as good. These are just what I noticed on the first day. I will update if I run into anything else. Unfortunately, I need a screen so I can’t really return. Edit: Today some of the display unglued itself from the assembly much like a previous review

The screen works and does the job if you're not too picky about picture quality and performance. I first tested the screen straight out of the box, and noticed that the screen is quite laggy. I can still see the lock screen clock slowly fading 5-10 seconds after unlocking the phone. It sort of looks like burn-in, but it fades after a few seconds. Same issue while reading texts and websites etc. Then, I went on to restore the true tone functionality (a special device like iCopy Plus or Clone Boy is needed for this), and the screen does look better, but the lag is still there. Also, the bezels are huge compared to the original screen. I have tried a few different aftermarket screens lately, and this is probably the worst. I would recommend a going for a more premium soft OLED (JK)

Screen works as described. Install was simple enough, would recommend a YouTube video at the very least, but do you. Touch works all over. Cons: Bevel is wider all around. Screen is actually thicker than stock Apple screen Bevel has a curve, screen protectors don’t fit right not even the one included Still, if you cracked your screen, or the digitizer is faulty, this is a decent replacement

I’m honestly disappointed with this product. The quality and product is not what was advertised, and it certainly doesn't match the description.Definitely not worth the price, and I wouldn’t recommend it unless improvements are made.
