John N. Hansen 20Q Classic Electronic Guessing Game New and Improved with 3 Language Options and Thousands of Outcomes

This was a replacement purchase for a 20 questions game I had purchased years ago. My grandkids are now at a great age to play it amongst themselves. I packed it for a recent overnight trip and found out it no longer worked. Grandkids were disappointed. I ordered this as replacement as soon as I got home. It works just as well as the original one I had. They are amazed that a simple game can "read their mind"...most of the time.

I cannot believe that little tiny electronic toy can actually guess what word I'm thinking about! You do have to really think about your answers for the best accuracy but all in all, very fun. It does guess wrong here and there. Do not pick anything extremely unique it's not that sophusticated.

Bought this for my son for Christmas and it doesn't work at all. Super disappointing. It just makes a clicking sound and the yes button sticks. It will not start a game. And I bought my Christmas presents early so the return window is closed. Do not buy.

I had a purple version of this as a kid. I remember being AMAZED that it would correctly guess my thought. This newer version is not exactly the same as I remember. It works and my kids like it. I think it’s guesses are not as accurate. The battery it came with lasted a month and was not easy to replace. Still probably worth the price for the fun.

Wonderful throwback toy. Smarter than you think. Wonderful time waster

I've thought of some pretty random things that u would think it would never guess correctly. Even the questions it asks seems like it's on the wrong track but when 20 hits it usually guesses on the nose. It's Amazing. It's a fun toy for the car. I like that you can speed up the words. And turn the sound off. Also a backlight option for night play. Cool. It's the size of a small cookie. Fits right in the palm of your hand. What's the coolest is that it wants you to think of something in three categories. I can't remember them all, but one category is minerals. The instructions tell you to think of something in these categories, but if you break the rules and skip when it asks the 3 categories, it still usually gets the right answer. I think it's worth the money and I would recommend for kids to play with on road trips. It's a good game that everyone can join in and think of words to stump it.

Social media made me seek this out. However, this is not the original brand and doesn’t work the same. (For example, you must select animal veg or mineral). It frequently gets stuck in the middle of questions and has to be rebooted, with all progress lost and no answer. So can be frustrating; thus 3 stars. If you select a simple tangible thing, it’s pretty successful guessing. It’s much less successful with intangible, complex or specific things. For an adult, that is disappointing. Kids 10 and under might have a more enjoyable time. The price seems WAY too high for the product and results.

This is far more entertaining than you’d expect. My daughter was in hospital for quite a while and she had great fun playing 20 questions with the nurses and staff. Makes a great gift.
