Need Convincing?
I've used Maple Holistic's "Silk 18 Conditioner" for years and love it. So I was excited to give this set a try. If you are reading reviews and are debating about this set, let me do my best to address your concerns. If you are concerned about the: 1. Size vs. price of the bottles: I have really long, thick hair and have struggled in the past with the amount of product it requires each time I wash it. This shampoo and conditioner is highly concentrated and only requires about a quarter sized amount of product to wash my hair. (See pics) Since I only wash my hair once a week, these bottles will last me about 8 months. That is actually a pretty good value if you look at it like that. If you're hair is shorter than mine, yours will probably last much longer. 2. Ingredients: (From the photos and NOT the website) Aqua, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Lauroamphoacetate, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Sodium Lauryl Glucoside Carboxylate, Lauryl Glucoside, Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Acrylates Copolymer, Coco-Glucoside, Glyceryl Oleate, Phytokeratin, Simmondsia chinesis (Jojoba) oil, Peppermint (Menthapiperita) oil, Spearmint (Menta spicata) Oil, Wild Mint (Mentha arvensis) Oil, Bergamot Mint (Menta citrate) Oil, Eucalyptus Mint (Eucalyptus polybractea) Oil. * If you're concerned about any of the ingredients, I looked each one up on the EWG website. All of the non-essential oil ingredients were ranked with a "1" in the Skin Deep Cosmetics Guide. Some of them had "limited" or "none" in the data section. I didn't look up the essential oils because I'm assuming you know about the benefits/concerns of EOs if you are wanting to know about specific ingredients. ;) I'm really picky with the ingredients I put on myself, on my children, or in my house. I actually make almost all of my own soaps, cleaners, and lotions myself. Anyone who has ventured into making products themselves knows that shampoo and conditioner are a hard transition. None of these ingredients gave me reason to be concerned. I would have no problem using them on my children, but I don't know the concentration of certain essential oils, so I don't use this on them. 3. Scent: I am crazy picky about smells and I avoid products that have "fragrance" on the ingredients list. For Maple Holistics to use only essential oils to scent this set, I'm thoroughly impressed!! This smells A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.!!! It smells like mint candies! (YUM!) 4. Quality: As previously mentioned, I have really long hair and it tends to be on the dry side. This is silky smooth. For real. You will probably be surprised how silky your hair feels afterwards. I also have NOT noticed my hair having build up like some shampoos/conditioners tend to feel. My overall opinion (if you care to know) is that I DEFINITELY recommend this! If you found my review informational, please click "helpful" below. Thank you!

Amazing!!!! Cured My hair issues! Natural Magick In two bottles:D
It was just delivered. I just got out of shower and my hair loved it thanks it and blown away by this product. Let me decribe my issue my hair is thinning in front and I’ve been suffering from dandruff and sores throughout head. It’s been a nightmare so I decided to find all natural shampoo and conditioner that will help without all the bad chemicals. I color dye my hair with punky colour semi hair dye. Have been for years. That’s all natural no problem there color lasts for months in my hair. The problem is the genetics on my moms side there’s a bunch of balding men. Mine not as bad as older brother who is year older he barely has any hair . I’m 28 years old with ton of hair just thinning in front. So I wanted natural product to help with my issues and slow thinning process down. I think my out cry’s have been answered:D The shampoo smell is awesome if you like white sage smell which as a witch I do. I burn white sage for meditating. The shampoo tingles a bit then if you do as bottle tells rinse and repeat it tingles even more. It’s fantastic! The conditioner is the best I’ve ever used. The cooling sensation is out of body amazing. I just stood there is sure bliss for over ten minutes. Once done the tingle and cooling sensations still linger. My hair feels spectacular and soooooo clean and all the itching pain is gone. I found my only shampoo and conditioner that I’ve been searching for. Anyone who says this stuff doesn’t do exactly as company/ bottles guarantees is a freaking liar 🤥 I recommend to anyone with bad dandruff, itching, thinning, head sores or who want really natural clean hair and conditioner that will blow you away with head sensations <3 I only speak truth and only review when product deserves recognition and praise for outstanding products!!! -Joshua

Great, but I'll try something else instead.
I really like this shampoo combo. I have long, fine, highlighted hair & dandruff. So I need moisture, but also can't have products that are too heavy or my hair gets weighed down. I typically wash my hair every other day. This works perfectly with this blend, but I couldn't ever stretch it an extra day with this. Winter Blend Shampoo: I LOVE the scent of this shampoo. It gets my hair very clean, though I do not use any product in it. I wouldn't use this shampoo without conditioner though, because it strips my hair of all the natural oils also - like I said, very clean. It lathers nicely and I don't have to use too much either. When used with the Silk 18 conditioner (if I use enough) my hair is really clean and feels nice and light. It smells like real mint rather than the fake peppermint you'd normally get with regular shampoos. Pleasant and not at all overwhelming. I did think from some of the reviews that it would help with my dandruff, however it really doesn't. I seem to have a lot of dandruff this year, small flakes but not itchy. The minty shampoo is soothing, and while it might help a bit it's just not enough. I would like to try the sage or tea tree oil shampoo instead. Silk 18 Conditioner: I would call this a light-to-medium strength conditioner. I have to use twice as much as I would using my usual (Tre seme) but the upside is that my hair isn't weighed down at all. It's soft but not over-conditioned. Regarding the smell... it's OK. It's a bit strong. It's a real vanilla smell (which unfortunately smells like my natural dog shampoo) and it's nice once I rinse it out. I would definitely buy from this company again but I'd like to try other shampoos to see if there is something better for me.

Great for chronic urticaria!
I have chronic urticaria, which sucks. We've found that some of my hives are caused by many food allergies, but even when I avoid those foods, there are times I break out in hives, and they usually are fifty cent piece size on my head. The itching/burning drives me nuts and I've used everything I could think of when my prescription antihistamines aren't cutting it. I've gone so far as to cut my hair less than an inch long to be able to coat the hives in an essential oil combo to give me a bit of relief. I saw this and thought that it might help a bit. Oh sweet Lord, the relief. It doesn't get rid of my hives, but after a shower, I have around 5 blissful itch and burn free hours of time. That's longer than any essential oil combo on it's own has given me. I've laid in bed with multiple ice packs on different spots, trying to get some sleep as the ice numbs the hives. I follow the directions on the shampoo, lather (it lathers up great!), let it sit for 2-3 minutes, which is about how long it takes to feel the coolness start to seep into my scalp. Then I follow with the conditioner and leave it on for another 2-3 minutes. One non-hive thing, my 10 year old was laying beside me and running her fingers through my hair. She said mom, your hair is so soft. I agree. I've got natural wavy/frizzy/sometimes curly if I work it just right hair that doesn't always feel soft to the touch. I've also had problems with some all natural shampoos making my hair feel horribly dry until my hair "gets used to" the product. I haven't had that problem with this set. The smell is obviously strongly mint, which I actually love. It reminds me a bit of my grandma and pep-o-mint life savers. Now I need a lotion just like this for when the hives are anywhere else but on my head. It is amazing, especially for those of with chronic urticaria who are dying for relief. I need to stock up on this in case they ever stop selling it.

Bought this to grow out my hair loss, but!
Pictures taken on Aug. 3 2022. Bought this based on all the reviews. I lost a lot of hair to Covid and stress back on Feb. Picked this up in July and today its Aug. 3 rd. I’m still waiting to see to see any new growth. My hair does feel moisturized, I can go longer period of times with out washing it. Tried going at least 4 days, but I wanted to see new hair growth so I try washing it every other day and allowing it to set for at least 4 min after shampooing and conditioning. That’s how desperate I am. I didn’t by it to moisturize my hair I bought it to make my hair grow. Thus far I really haven’t noticed anything. I’m going to go another month to update this review to see it there is any changes. I was hoping to see something. A year ago I made my own rice water rinse. Where you leave it on an hour, even though you add your own essential oils to mask the horrible smell of the rice water, that did work. It is a very nice shampoo and conditioner and noticed that after getting my hair colored I hardly saw any of my color going down the drain, however I do see some hair loss going down and getting stuck on the drain screen. I promise to update In another month to let you know if there’s been any new growth, I was hoping to see a little hair growth. Haven’t seen it yet. It does smell good, but I didn’t buy it to moisturize, for smell of for conditioning, I bought it stop my hair from falling out and to regrow my hair. The company was kind enough to return my money, they do as they say. Back their product 100%

Loved it so much we bought again!
I received a free, small sample size of the Sage shampoo -- my boyfriend and I were SO impressed with it, that we wound up ordering full size bottles of the shampoo and the conditioner once we ran out of the sample-size. The shampoo advertises that it is a natural remedy for dandruff, and it REALLY does work. It worked for both my boyfriend's hair, which is thick, curly, and coarse, as well as my fine polish hair. We both battle some occasional dandruff, especially when the weather changes and the air is dry (thank you, Winter). I wouldn't say we have major issues with dandruff, but it is definitely itchy and bothersome at times, and this shampoo really helped to alleviate the itchiness of the dry skin, as well as the little dandruff flakes themselves. I was surprised when my boyfriend was the one who suggested we buy a full-size bottle, since he usually doesn't care about shampoo and body wash. He used to depend on Head & Shoulders, but he said the Sulfate-Free Sage Shampoo smelled better and even worked better. I think my favorite aspect of the shampoo is that it is a natural, sulfate-free remedy, so I feel safe knowing that I'm not further damaging my hair with Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and other harmful chemicals that are found in cleaning agents (such as laundry / dish washing detergents). Sometimes when you think of "sulfate-free" shampoos, you think of shampoos that do not lather -- however, this shampoo lathers really well. Like my boyfriend, I also really enjoy the way the Sage Shampoo smells (it is such a refreshing scent). I'm not as much of a fan of the smell of the conditioner, but that is only one con out of the many pros. The conditioner is light and does not weigh my hair down, and it keeps it looking soft and healthy. Plus two bottles (shampoo + conditioner) for the $15 price tag is super helpful, considering we keep ourselves on a fairly tight budget. The bottle is fairly moderate in size; we received the full bottle on October 17th, and we have more than half the bottle left (it is now October 30th). A little bit goes a long way, which is a relief since we are both using it. Overall, both my boyfriend and I are so happy that we received this free sample so that we knew what we were missing out on! We will continue buying this shampoo as long as Amazon continues selling it. Thank you, Maple Holistics, for two very happy customers :)

Spearmint not peppermint, but a really great shampoo
I had to stop using the Paul Mitchel brand after realizing breathing and skin issues were related to the artificial fragrance, and after becoming aware of the ecological effects of certain ingredients, we decided to seek a more responsible product like this one. After using this for over six months, I have to say this is wonderful stuff. My hair is soft, and I love the smell. The conditioner is just amazing both in the smell and effectiveness. And I frankly don't understand how so little of a bottle is lasting so long, but it really does require very, very small amounts. I'll be a repeat customer when the time comes. I had originally taken off some stars because when I think of winter and mint, I think of a candy cane and red and white candies - peppermint. But this has a strong spearmint smell. In time, however, I grew to actually prefer this. We've tried the mango as well, but found the scent a bit too intense. Not bad - just a little too fruity smelling for me, though we gave some to friends who absolutely loved the smell of our hair, and asked us what we were using. This winter mint is perfect. All without the heady perfumes and toxic "parfum" or mystery "fragrance" ingredients that make it difficult for me to breathe. My skin reacts badly to the formaldehyde and synthetics from colognes and artificially scented products, so it's been wonderful to find a product that has a smell you can really enjoy. It lathers nicely, and the conditioner leaves my hair soft and shiny. My wife who has about 1000x the amount of hair I do also converted over, and has a difficult time now using other products while we are traveling, so we've taken to bringing along travel-size bottles of this.

Great product
This has been the only shampoo and conditioner that actually helps cut the grease from my daughter‘s hair and keep it away. She used to have to wash her hair every single night, now she can go three days without washing her hair.
