Good detail and beautifully made
I wanted to have a lion and wardrobe for my Christmas village, but it's too big, so I have them out during the non-Christmas season!! LOL

Big Sized Lion
My son loves his new lion. It is the biggest in his collection of lion figurines. I like the look and feel of the lion. It is quality built.

Amazing detail, flexible tail, rich expression
This is a nice toy. Very good detail, the mane has a lot of texture. Nice muscles in the sides and legs and it shows convincing ribs on the sides. Perfect alignment of the four paws with no wobble. I was amazed to realize that the tail is flexible. This toy is much more flexible than the schleich giraffe I have, but seems just as durable. The detail is even better than the scheich giraffe.

Very Realistic
I bought this for my grandson for Christmas to go along with his big cat collection and it was very nice and he loved it. The male lion matches perfectly with the Papo female and they make a great pair. Papo does such a good job on its animals and I am glad to have found them on Amazon. I will be buying more of them for my grandson.

Detailed sculpt, not detailed paint
This lion figurine is an exceptionally detailed sculpt. His mane and coat are finely detailed, there are visible veins on his legs, and his pose is very realistic. However, like other reviewers have noted, his painting does not match the photo. His coat is not as detailed, and is a deeper chestnut color. As I bought the model to put into a miniature, I don’t mind refinishing him to make his paint more detailed.

Its a very cool lion figure right size the color is amazing there it is next to jurassic world t rex so its the best male lion I've got for son

Inaccurate Description
The dimensions are not accurate in the description, the lion is only 5” long and maybe 3” tall. If you are looking for a scale suitable for a 6” action figure find another alternative.
