Ordered the white/light wood model and it looks great. I found the fit and finish of the hifi rack to be very good for the price and it had clear and easy to follow build instructions with everything numbered. The only slightly fiddly bit being the rear screws on the two middle shelves which are a fixed height giving 24/24/20cm spacing bottom to top. Screw in feet are hard plastic which I will replace to provide some isolation.

This is a beautiful unit, well worh the price, well made and very sturdy, I would definitely recommend, shipment was great well packaged by seller.

Well packaged. Assembly is a bit tricky, especially if you're doing it alone and a power tool is required to screw in the small tapping screws. Once assembled the unit looks very nice, the materials feel high quality and it's very sturdy, ideal for holding hi-fi separates. The only negative is that it can be difficult to feed cables between the two back posts, this really depends on what you are putting on the shelves though. Overall this is a good buy and I recommend it. I'm pleasantly surprised by the overall quality.

Very pleased with this hi-fi stand. I had seen one ready assembled in a hifi shop so I knew what I was getting. It took me a while to put together (maybe an hour) but with no major difficulties. It is a solid piece of furniture that is well finished.

Delivery and Unboxing It came well packed with no external damaged (such as bashed corners) when it was delivered. Upon opening the box, the items were packed very neatly rather as you find Ikea furniture, so there was no movement of the items in the box. Assembly The supplied instructions were generally OK with number items in separate bags. Keeping all these items separate is key to avoid confusion as some of the screws and fittings are alike. Upon following the sequence of assembly it could be argued that one important point not mentioned was not to tighten the screws all the way during assembly when handling the top and bottom shelves. This means that you can align the holes and keep everything 'flexible' until you are ready to put the hifi stand upright. After the top and bottom shelving, along with the back supports are fitted, adding the shelves (x2) is quite straightforward. Finish The overall quality of the finish, while it is plastic foil coated MDF, was quite good with most of the joins in the foil on the shelves flush with no gap. Only one shelf had about 1mm gap in the plastic foil but this was at the back of the unit so hidden from view. The metal frame was nicely powder-coated in black paint. All the screw and bolts holes aligned too. This hifi shelf unit was purchased as it had similar shape and form to the furniture already present in the room. The dark walnut effect with black metal frame matched well. Overall, factoring in the price, the hifi stand is good value and is recommended.

I had looked at this many times and eventually decided to take the plunge. It was very well packaged and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. When built I was pleasantly surprised how sturdy and good looking it was. Initially I used the power block holder on the back but removed it when I found it kept the unit too far away from the wall. If you were using it in a corner this would not be an issue. The other thing I changed was placing my amp on the middle shelf, the top shelf is a little small to get all the leads neatly in without fowling the back of the unit. If you have a smaller amp (mine is a Marantz PM5005) that would not be a problem. All in all I am delighted with the unit, it certainly punches above its weight and I would certainly recommend this.
