The product was seamlessly installed in my 2020 Volvo XC40 after the trim was removed. The video quality is good, and the device operates consistently without necessitating any additional maintenance post-installation. I would highly recommend it, particularly due to the absence of visible wiring.

Installation was exactly as instructed with simple connection to the car existing wiring sockets. The camera is amazingly unobtrusive, blending in to the windscreen cowling as if it were initially designed there. The recording is good and easily reviewed using the phone app. Perhaps a little expensive, but a worthwhile upgrade from the screen-mounted lump I had before.

Unlike many cheaper models this has no GPS to record your speed, acceleration etc. on the video This can be an advantage or disadvantage depending how you look at it. It records you haveing a no fault accident keeping withing the speed limit. Thsts why you purchased it But you have another no fault accident, but this time you are speeding. Will that video be of any use to you?

Excellent product. Slightly complicated to assemble because the rain sensor/ mirror mounting housing had to be removed from the windscreen. The u-tube video did indicate this, but the instructions supplied with the cam indicated it wasn’t necessary to dismantle the housing. It was in my case , but only took a few more minutes to gain access. Picture quality excellent.

I could not be happier with this! I have the patience of a toddler, but it took me 15 minutes to fit in my 2020 T5 R Design Pro XC40. I just watched the video on here. It quite literally couldn’t be simpler. Worked immediately, auto records all drives, and stores them in the micro SD card. I had trouble staying on the dashcam WiFi to download videos, then I realised I had to simply untick the ‘Auto join WiFi for the car’ then it won’t keep jumping out and going back to CarPlay. I can’t believe I was considering Halfords!

Fitted this to a Volvo XC40. I found you had to gently force the cober off to access the wiring. This seemed to be short but after cutting a cable tie and some gentle wiggling it was ok. Fit the "Y" lead, and refit cover, job done. Down load the app, follow instructions to connect (you need to be in the car). Power up camera as per instructions and that's it.

La cámara se enciende con el arrancado del coche. Tiene muy buen calidad de imagen, me ha sorprendido muchísimo!! Es muy fácil de instalar en el coche sin necesidad de llevarlo a ningún taller. Hay que descargar la app, y conectarla con la wifi de la cámara para poder visualizar en el momento los vídeos realizados, pudiendo descargarlos en el móvil. Sino también tienes la opcion de descargarlos con el usb. El único pero que pongo es que en un viaje hace muchos vídeos, pues los agrupa en minutos no en dias, asi es que depende el viaje que hagas, tendrás una burrada de vídeos guardados.

Ottima dash cam. Perfettamente compatibile con la mia Volvo. Facilissima da installare e configurare. Molto soddisfatto.

Non pensate però che sia così facile come nel video tutorial per il montaggio. Per staccare il cavetto con il Jack verde (questo alimenta l'antiappannamento dello specchietto retrovisore e fa da ponte per alimentare la dash cam) non basta togliere solo il coperchio piccolo (dove andrà poi incastrata la dash cam) ma tutto il copri sensori in plastica intorno. È molto improbabile infatti che riusciate a farlo senza smontare tutto perché come mostrato in video quel cavetto si stacca facilmente mentre invece è difficile da raggiungere con le dita ed è molto incastrato con l'equivalente femmina. Ad ogni modo togliere tutto il resto, per avere lo spazio e la visuale libera per staccare il jack e montare il cavo a Y in dotazione, è semplicissimo. Per rimontarlo (un poco più complicato) basta capire che ci sono quattro incastri, i superiori vanno inseriti mentre quelli inferiori vanno ad incastro. Una volta montata la dash cam la configurazione wifi direct con l'app è stata immediata e la soddisfazione massima. Ora ho una dash cam che a stento si nota tanto è ben integrata con il resto delle componenti originali dell'auto, 10 e lode!

Easy installation and excellent fit; excellent quality video; looks like a factory accessory. Only comment, the guy in the video must have had tiny fingers 'cause I had to go up in there with a pair of needle nose pliers to unplug the connector! From there on out- easy peasy! Only had to remove the small panel that is replaced by the camera, not the entire housing, and they provide the plastic lever to open the panel. I also like the fact that it turns on and off with the car ignition, you can just forget it until you need it. Works fine with my iPhone 11 Pro.

I have an automatically dimming inner rear view mirror, and I use the power for that to the camera, not sure if this works without the automatic dimming
