Just what I needed to resurrect my old gameboy sp. Works great and holds a nice charge for a long time.

This battery was exactly what I needed to get my GBA SP back in the game, perfectly replacing the original. It's easy to install thanks to the included screwdriver, and this battery has a far greater capacity than the old original batteries did. I was also pleasantly surprised that it came fully charged. The price was also pretty far at under ten bucks. Five stars!

I don’t leave reviews often, but I’m very excited with this battery! I just recently did an SP Re-Shell and noticed my GBA SP battery was swollen. I watched a few YouTube videos and saw this one got pretty good marks so I picked it up. My swollen battery would stay green for 2 hours and then red for 45 minutes. While running the same test on this new battery, (playing Sonic Advanced sound Check with backlight on), I got 6 hours of green and 2 hours of red on my AGS-001. I’m now trying the “sleep” mode from another game and it’s been 18 hours and the light is still green. I’ll give an update once I finally get the full sleep mode duration. I should note that it did take multiple hours for it to charges; but with getting 3x the gameplay time from before, I’m happy to wait for it to charge longer. UPDATE: The sleep mode test was wild. I started at 8pm and the green light held till 3pm the next day. The red light held out until after midnight. That makes sleep mode 19 hours green and then the battery holding red until the 28th hour.

Laat a long time, but its hard to tell battery life. Red light starts flashing pretty early.

Major upgrade to the standard battery, no issues charging it although it does take a little longer. The battery however last what seems to be double my old battery ( 12 ish hrs). Highly recommended for simple and effective upgrades!

Takes a while for it to charge. Longer than the original battery, but it also gets longer play time. This was suggested to me by someone I know who used it to replace theirs and my expectations were definitely beaten. This battery is worth the cash.

I like having a bit more power in the new battery. If I can get half as many years of life out of my original battery in my GBA SP I'll be happy.

A quick minute or 2 of work for more battery life with a modern battery. Unscrew the cover, pull out the original battery, and plug in the new battery. Simple as that
