Great Fragrance
I used it once and found it took very little to foam up and left my hair clean and smelling great. I’d recommend it for a change from the same old major brands.

It worked on the most recent case of college lice coming home for summer. 😑
Unfortunately, We’ve learned a lot about lice treatment over the years. We tackle it with several fronts and have always gotten rid of them within a couple days of treatment and with no recurring cases. We start by applying olive oil with tea tree and rosemary essential oils, completely drenching the hair all the way to the scalp. Put on a hair cap, let it sit for a few hours or overnight, then pick through with a lice comb, I prefer the metal ones. Wipe comb on paper towel after each swipe, looking carefully for any little oblong shape or critter. Dip comb in boiling water ( I like to make sure the dead! Brutal, I know!) then repeat till you’ve done the whole head. It’s important to know that the critters lay eggs around the nape of the neck or behind the ears. But the can lay anywhere just pay special attention to those areas. Once you have picked through and feel like there’s nothing left, wash hair using this shampoo. Do this till you see no more and a couple days beyond that just to be sure. Treat everyone in the household or who’s been in contact. We only had to do this routine for 3 days as we seemed to get they only critter on day one. We continued washing everyday using the shampoo for a week then again 14 days later for a couple days just to be sure they did not hatch any eggs we might have missed. This process works!! You should have them gone in a couple days with a little extra work and attention . I hope this helps someone, we have had friends who have had recurrence after recurrence, I don’t think that is necessary if you do your due diligence at the very start. It’s a pain! And you definitely don’t want to share these so we usually avoid contact with anyone until we know there’s no more . Oh. One more biggie! You MUST wash & dry all bedding and toss pillows, stuffed animals ... in the dryer for the heat to kill the little boogers. Vacuum the rooms you know the person was in before you knew they had it. I know it sounds like a lot, but if you have ever had fleas this is the same deal, you have to be diligent to get rid of them. It is worth it to eradicate them quickly. Just get into battle mode and get it done. We like this shampoo, it’s not harsh on the hair and it smells good, not toxic to humans and it works!!

Gentle on hair but won't solve dandruff problems
First off I have dandruff (mild/medium) so hopefully, my review will be more helpful towards others experiencing dandruff. I am currently using 3 other shampoos (Selsun Blue, Honeydew Zinc Pyrithione, and Maple Holistics Sage) to rotate throughout the week to control my dandruff problems. For controlling dandruff I use the Selsun Blue, Honeydew Zinc and for the off days, I use the Maple Holistics Sage shampoo. I wanted to add another shampoo to my rotation. The dandruff shampoo works but using it too often strips the hair oil and shininess, leaving it looking flat and like a mop on your head afterward. So the MP Sage shampoo was my only normal shampoo for the off days and when dandruff is not spreading wild like a new covid variant. The Lemon Sage shampoo has a nice light lemon citrus scent to it. I like that it has natural ingredients and is pretty gentle on the hair. I use this shampoo every 4-5 days and when my scalp has little to no signs of dandruff. My hair feels clean and looks healthy after shampooing and drying. After using this for 6 weeks, the only downside I noticed is that it does cause a slight amount of dandruff to appear (I would say 10-15% out of 100) the following day. Which is why I have to knock off a star. The main reason I rotate my shampoos is that for some people with dandruff if you keep using the same shampoo after a while it might be less effective after some time. Also if you have dandruff, I recommend towel drying first then blow dry with cold air after showering instead of leaving your scalp damp to air dry. I think this would be a great shampoo to use if your scalp is healthy.

Works great!
Works great for scalp clarifying! The scent is a bit strong, but using it with a scalp scrubber makes a big difference — leaves hair and scalp feeling super clean. The bottle lasts a while and doesn’t dry hair out or weigh it down.

This is the only lice prevention shampoo you will ever need.....
I have been battling lice on and off for a few years now. My oldest brought it home from school a few times and then passed it on to my toddler twin girls. The littles are mixed and have tons of very tight, curly hair (so getting rid of them made it SO much harder). Once I did the doctor prescribed treatment (nothing otc worked-ever long term) I have used this since at least once a week on them. It works so well!! Get a nice lather going and then let it sit for a few minutes. If there are any live little stragglers hanging on, this will kill them guaranteed. It smells nice and has a great creamy texture. I can say since I have started using (applying this product with consistency is KEY) it we have not had any more issues. I would rather do this as I have been and re-purchasing as necessary, than ever sit for HOURS hunched over my children dragging combs thru their hair as we all cry and would rather be doing anything but (amirite?!?). BUY THIS NOW!!!! (if you cherish your sanity)

Be careful of your eyes!
Lathers well, but beware- this shampoo really STINGS the eyes!!! RInsed my eyes, then hair (w/eyes shut tight) but it still felt like they were burning...not sure if this is an experience I want to repeat. p.s.- I do have to say that, 2 days later, my hair still feels pretty clean. There is a lingering fragrance that has bothered me, but I'll give the shampoo another try- with my eyes shut tight...

Very good shampoo for natural hair
I love this shampoo. It smells really great and the tingling feeling you get on your scalp after washing is good. The ingredients used in the shampoo are really beneficial to hair growth. It makes my hair feel really soft after using, as I have a thick head of hair. My hair is easily detangled when using the conditioner. It lathers quickly. Very good shampoo to use. I would recommend it.

great product
I like this product. But it does have a set back. I know we all want a miracle of it killing lice and boom they are gone but its not a reality. So what I do is when you wash hair out it does not rinse the dead lice out of hair. But it did work. So all i do is wash her hair with the product, rinse and pat her hair with a towel so its still damp and run a lice hair comb through her hair and it comes out perfectly and a lot of it since they are dead and almost like on top of her hair so you can see a lot, I mean a lot of lice that I would not be able to see on dry hair because lice are fast and super tiny and even when i use a spray bottle with a little bit of conditioner. I deffinetly love this product. My kids don't like the smell but other than that it works great.
