Solutions Manual (SI Units) for the Engineer-In-Training Reference Manual, 8th Ed

Trying to study for the new format of the EIT. Had the reference manual, but also have the Lindbergh books. Wanted to tackle some extra problems from the reference manual, but couldn’t because no solutions to check my work. Found this online for an inexpensive price and ordered right away. Helpful to analyze any problem solving issues or steps that may not be quickly remembered.

If you are thinking of buying this book, it means you have bought the Engineer-In-Training Reference Manual. Since you bought the manual, you are truely an idiot if you don't buy the solution manual. With that being said; the solutions book works out all the problems that are in the manual. The solutions are worked out in steps and as far as I can see the steps aren't complicated (meaning there's no mathematical gymnastics involved like knowing an uncommon mathematical identity). The steps are simple enough that you understand what you don't know and have an idea of where to go if you don't understand the solution.However, just like many college text books, it might have mistakes. I can't comment on whether or not there are many mistakes in the solutions, nor can anyone who needs this book. It would be wise to buy MathCad, MatLab, Mathematica, and/or (Maple?), or any of the industry's number crunching software. Not only will you be able to double check against math errors, but you will deepen your learning with a tool you'll find, at the least, very useful.Overall, if you are even considering this book; buy it.

Considering the cost of the EIT Reference Manual, you would think solutions would be provided at no extra charge. If you need to review for the EIT test using the Reference Manual, you can't do without the Solutions Manual. What is the use of reviewing if you don't know whether you have the correct answers to the problems.I'm giving it an "I don't like it" because it feels like publisher is gouging us. I believe it is necessary; however I don't believe we shouldpay extra. Wrap it in with the EIT Ref Manual and charge one price.

Complements and reinforces the material used in the EIT Ref manual. Very helpful if you have been out of school for awhile and need a quick reference.

This manual came in good condition just like advertised. Not a single scribble, nor highlight in all pages, it looks brand new. The book cover is a little bit worn out but the pages are still in perfect condition. Highly recommended to everyone who needs a solutions manual for the EIT reference manual book.
