We wanted this as a pancake maker and it is perfect. As others have mentioned there is no temperature control so beware children using it. Lots of fun chatting whilst the pamcakes sre cooking so no one person having to be in the kitchen cooking on theit own.

Overall its a wonderful product for making pancake efficiently especially if you have either small business, or your kids love pancakes. It's quick and easy to use and has made my life easier. Could gibe 5 stars if it had different temperatures settings. Since this has only 1 temperature setting so when it turns fully hot and starts burning pancakes if left longer, you would need to turn off to lower the temperature. So it would be lovely to add high, medium and low temperature settings to make it perfect.

Poor quality I think. Only one temperature setting which smells strong when it heats up. Yet the instruction booklet says you can turn it down. Nope. It's either on red hot or off. Followed all instructions made 3 batches of pancakes all would have burned or not cooked in middle as you have to keep switching it on & off to get a decent temp to cook without burning. I would go so far to say it is dangerous as the whole unit gets so hot and you can't turn it down it would set something alight if it fell on it. Returning for refund.

Excellent purchase as the pancakes made were super fluffy and tasty.

Love it, easy to use once you get the hang of it, ladle handy, easy to clean.

Very light weight. Works best with the thicker American pancake batter but also produces small, traditional thin pancakes satisfactorily.

Great idea but too hot for American pancake recipes as burns before cooked through because batter thicker. Needs different heat settings.
