Really impressed with the build and typing experience. The keys feel tactile and responsive, with a satisfying click that’s not too loud. The backlighting looks nice and adds to the overall look, especially at night. I’ve used it for both gaming and work, and it performs well in both cases. Feels durable and well-built. If you’re looking for a good mechanical keyboard without spending too much, this is a solid choice.

It's a great keyboard with amazing build quality, nice lighting, and click feedback. Feels very stable even without any large mousepad due to its heavy weight (~800g) and decent grip at bottom. Switch and typing experience is good, the lighting presets are nice. Polling rate + anti ghosting = solid for gaming. All features are worth it if you are getting it for around 2200rs. But a few negatives.. The brightness of RGB is decent, not too bright. But still nice if you have a low light setup. And the switches feel too tight to remove with the puller. I have tried many times but they are just too tightly fitted to remove. Idk if it's with only my model although it's not necessary things so that's ok. Overall, it's perfect keyboard for the price. The negatives don't affect the usage of it so they aren't a major problem for me

1) Pls note that the packaging of the product is significantly improved and it no more comes with a bad packaging (which was the case in 2020!). The product I recieved was in a neat and sturdy packaging. It was nicely covered with a box that had zero damage and the box was also contained in a bigger container(double box protection! Rest assured about the packaging, it was an issue in the past. 2) If you are coming from a membrane keyboard then the quality or build of the keyboard will definitely be a premium one for you. It has got quite a weight to it and hence feels quite a good built. But the braided cable feels a bit cheaper COMPARED TO OTHER BRAIDED CABLES. It is still good compared to normal rubber cables. 3) The keys are simply awesome. You will definitely get obsessed by typing on this keyboard. It simply feels great to type on it. The keys are quite loud and fully give the mechanical keyboard wala vibe that you need. I got so customed to this board that when i returned to my laptop keyboard it felt like its keys were inaudible(not kidding!). 4) Though rgb was not my first priority while buying this board.... but it too is just simply great! The colors are surprisingly vibrant and bright enough for most of us users. There are enough modes that one might need and you can even change the brightness of the rgb. If you need any more custom modes (if you are that much of a psycho xD) you can get it done through the CB software that the keyboard supports! 5) As mentioned RGB was not my first priority. I needed a compact ten key less mechanical keyboard which i needed for my college work and mostly for CODING! And .......... i am in love with this keyboard. The form factor is really very compact and it does not take much space from my desk and i can keep my board and write on my notebooks at the same time without any difficulty (which was one with my previous keyboard. I always needed to switch my keyboard and notebook from the desk very often and it irritated me alot). 6) One thing that i encountered was that my typing speed reduced while typing on this keyboard. I also made more errors while coding using this. I tend to mispress quite often and this is due to some anti ghosting keys that this board has. But its not quite that big of an issue and I will get accustomed to it with time imo! So, my final thoughts for buying the board would be that - if its your first mechanical keyboard .... JUST GO FOR IT. You wont be disappointed by the product. And if its not your first then too you wont notice any significant issues with the board and it will be just simply great for most of us!

It has been 2 years since I have purchased this. I paid a full 2349 for the product with the intent that it will be better than my previous keyboard and also light up in the dark. Prior to this I used a Das Keyboard Model S which I still have it today and it has been with me since the last 10+ years. Even today, the Das Keyboard is superb in terms of quality, stability and typing but just lacks lights. I have the blue switch Das Keyboard. After using Cosmic Byte: 1. Stress: I started developing hand pain after long hours of work. I purchased a pad and typed, still there was a noticeable stress. Never had that with my Das Keyboard. The keys are a bit raised is what I felt. Especially the angle at which edge of the keyboard that remains towards you and the clearance it has from the table surface. The Cosmic Byte looks raised and feels raised. 2. Stability: The frame feels light. Its easy to carry but since its light, if you type faster there is lateral movement of the keyboard if your table surface is smooth. The Das keyboard is heavy and it does not move. 3. Sound: Even though being the same blue colored switches, Das keyboard is quieter. The Cosmic Byte makes a definite click sound which turns the eyes of your office folks towards you especially when they get disturbed from it during calls. 4. Quality: The plastic feel is good but the material feels less dense and not sturdy. Maybe am comparing to Das Keyboard and so I may have a higher expectation. 5. Type Speed: Here the Das Keyboard is a clear winner. You can type in the Cosmic Byte but its slow. The tactile and reactive speed of the switch although good, its not good for fast typing. It felt like pressing against a hard button. Here is where I had to really struggle with it and made mistakes. It used to feel like an effort to type with it. Plus the keyboard has the keys depressed in an arc. I felt that the arc had greater depth than most keyboards I have used. I used to feel my hands after typing. The tactile resistance with this keyboard was high. 6. Support: I had the space bar trouble with the cosmic byte. The spacebar was occasionally getting stuck but if you pressed it one more time, it used to move forward on the screen. It started off by happening just a very few times only and then gradually increased. Then as the work from office started, I carried it to office but everyone would cast a look when I typed on it because of the sound. I took my old Das but that did not have that much click sound. The Das was bigger than the two and would not fit in my bag and so I stopped taking both and only while at home, I used the Cosmic Byte. So, the use of the keyboard fell. I saw the spacebar issue to become more and more prevalent. Now the problem is completely full blown and the space bar does not register at all. I removed the spacebar key and saw that the blue switch too has that same problem. It does not register the hits. Out of 30 hits it would register only once. I reached out to Customer Support. As per them the warranty expired last year and apart from me agreeing to ship the product and I paying for the repair, they cannot honor anything. I have switched back to the Das Keyboard. It still functions well and apart from getting dirty which I clean time to time, it still has the superb feel. The wire cable looks old, has had a crack too but still runs just fine. My hand has started to feel much better. One might say that I got accustomed to one keyboard but I did give this keyboard a solid 2 years too. Paying a hefty price for this, and that too when the company knows that there is an issue with the product's spacebar, they atleast honor the problem even if its out of warranty. It just did not break out completely within a year. As of this remark I am still trying to get it worked out with them and I understand the warranty part.

I’ve been using the Cosmic Byte Firefly CB-GK-16 (Blue switch variant) for about 2 months now. Honestly, I didn’t expect this level of quality for the price. The build feels sturdy, with a metal top plate that gives it some good weight doesn’t slide around. The switches are Outemu Blues, so yeah, they’re clicky and loud. If you’re into that tactile typing feel, you’ll love it. Typing feels satisfying, and key response is crisp. Definitely not silent though, so maybe not the best for shared rooms or late-night use unless your roommates are cool with it. The RGB lighting is bright and clean. Tons of modes to cycle through using the keyboard shortcuts, even if the software isn't the most polished. It’s tenkeyless, which is perfect for my setup. Saves space without sacrificing comfort or usability. I use it for both work and gaming (Valorant, Apex), and it holds up really well. Nothing has gone wrong till this day Couple of small things: The keycaps are decent, but don’t expect premium material. They're fine for daily use though. Blue switches are loud not a downside for me, but something to be aware of.
