Brightness and Reliability for Classes and Presentations
I have been using the BenQ SVGA (MS560) business projector for two years in various settings to teach classes, and I am very satisfied with its performance and quality. This projector has proven to be a reliable tool, especially in situations where I need to project in well-lit spaces, thanks to its high brightness of 4000 lumens, which ensures a clear and sharp image even in rooms with natural light. Image Quality and Brightness: The image quality offered by this projector is excellent for its price range. The 20,000:1 contrast ratio allows for good differentiation between dark and light tones, which is particularly useful when displaying text and graphics in presentations. Although I have noticed that in very bright rooms, the image quality can slightly diminish, it remains sufficiently clear to be visible and effective for learning. This makes it ideal for presentations and classes where controlling the lighting of the environment is not always possible. Ease of Setup and Use: One of the features I like the most is the automatic keystone correction, which greatly facilitates installation and image adjustment, allowing for hassle-free use. The setup is quite simple, and the projector has multiple ports, including dual HDMI and VGA, offering great flexibility to connect different devices, from laptops to older equipment. Versatility and Image Options: The BenQ MS560 projector offers several predefined image modes that can be adjusted according to needs, which is a plus for adapting presentations to different lighting conditions and types of content. It also has lighting modes that help extend the lamp's lifespan, which is an advantage for frequent use in educational environments. Design Considerations: In terms of design, I appreciate its robust construction, although it would be convenient if it included a lens cover to prevent damage when transported. Additionally, it is important to note that the image becomes distorted if the projector is not placed directly in front of the screen; there is no option for horizontal correction, which can slightly limit flexibility regarding projector placement. However, with proper installation, this has not been a significant issue for me. Value for Money: Compared to other projectors on the market, I consider the BenQ MS560 to offer excellent value for money. While there are cheaper projectors that promise advanced features like Full HD resolution, I have found that many of them require total darkness for good projection, which is not always practical in educational settings. In contrast, the BenQ MS560 provides a clear and bright projection in various lighting conditions, making it much more versatile for my needs. Conclusion: Overall, the BenQ SVGA (MS560) business projector is a solid choice for professionals who need a reliable and easy-to-use projector for presentations and classes. Its high brightness, good image quality, and ease of setup make it a valuable tool in educational and business settings. After two years of use, I am very pleased with its performance and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality projector at a reasonable price.

Great focus across the whole screen, bright.
We use this for our movie projection to a 144" diagonal image on the wall. Unlike many others that we tried it is focused across the whole screen so you can read all the text of a full screen browser or computer window. The colors are true, the image is bright, and it is quiet, but ours is in the back of a 19 foot room and we run it in eco mode . Also for those sensitive to plastic smell ( I am one) this unit had a little odor at first but quickly went away. We have been using this for more than a year. True, it is not a 4k display but as DLP projector at 1280x800 it works just fine using it as a 1920x1080 display device for my Denon HDMI receiver.

Good projector
Good projector. Not a fan of that it has predetermined height and width so it won’t fill my wall out completely. Great picture quality tho.

Boss projector
Reliable, easy to use, efficient, and durable. This beast is a, "work horse", I bought this for my teaching practicum and I at first was worried about the frequency of use. For months this thing has been used every day for the majority of the day, and the boss did not disappoint. Will definitely recommend.

It's "fine" but...
This projector feels 20 years older than it is. The picture quality is passable, probably even more than sufficient as a business projector, and the machine its self seems well built and, while we're giving compliments, it can deliver a pretty clear image even in a moderately well lit room. All of these are great -- but what's not so great is the heat this thing pumps out. Using this in a large conference room for a 30 minute test and screen alignment during the install had me genuinely suspecting that our building's air conditioner had broken! I understand that it's the wild west online when it comes to projectors: You can spend as little as $20 on a glorified kid's toy or tens of thousands on something cinema grade, so you may look at the price here and think it's a good value for the money -- but authentically this thing gets so hot that it makes the room unusable. You know what doesn't do that? The $50 projector I got my kid to watch spooky Halloween Movies on the garage door. Is it as bright? No. Is the picture quality as good? No. But when it comes to a business projector I'd rather dim the lights than bake everyone while they're pretending to be interested in my power point presentation.

Best addition to our home!
Love love love this purchase. We use it every day - bought this to replace our TV. It's been over a year and I've never regretted the decision. Instead of being limited to a tiny tv we have this filling a whole wall! Worth every penny.

Great machine at a great price. It’s portable, and bright in a bright room. I thought it’d overheat and shut off (prior experience) but it did not.

This projector is perfect for my use : normal living room for watching movies or playing games. It's marketed as a conference room projector, but the color saturation from the 4 LEDs + DLP is very good and the color are pretty vivid (better than a PT-RZ570). Contrast is probably not the best, but the high brightness means it can be used in a normal living room even without the curtains closed : not optimal, but still usable. The projected image is about 120 inches in my setup on a standard quality screen. As it's a single chip DLP, there is still some rainbow effect (much less than a PT-RZ570), but it's really low. I think it's the closest one can get to a 3 chip DLP without the price tag. The manual says it can accept 1080p 120 hz which it does, but the only way I could actually display a 1080p 120 hz content was when I activated the sequencial frame 3d option with 2d content : the catch is that the image is half the brightness. Compared to a PT-RZ570, the white brightness seems lower, but the whites are on the same brightness level compared to the colors (which the PT-RZ570 can't do). It's also quieter than a PT-RZ570. Overall, it's an impressive projector that I don't regret buying. UPDATE 1 : from 5 stars to 1. Finally, with a DLP, the unability to use the 120 hz refresh rate is a real deal breaker for me. At 60 hz, everthing looks stuttery. With the slight motion blur of an LCD projector, it kind of blends every frame together so it's less obvious. I tried to get used to it, but I wasn't able to. Multiples cables were used and the projector information menu is really showing a 120 hz input. Through the lasts months, I exchanged emails with BenQ technical support to get this issue resolved. The whole process took some months and the return window on Amazon is long gone. The technical support finally took a picture of what they think is a working 120 hz display with the UFO blur buster test : the result is that the 120 fps and the 60 fps test are showing the exact same behaviour. Same spacing between the UFOs : same frame rate. Picture 1 is from me and is showing normal 1080p 120 hz mode (problematic one), picture 2 is from me and is showing 3D sequencial mode (where it can really do 120 hz display, but with less contrast and mediocre contrast) and picture 3 is from the technical support and is showing the supposed to be working 120hz (my camera shutter speed is not the same as their, but the results are similar). For BenQ, it's a working 120hz mode and they don't understand what to look for even if I tried to explain it to them. Their solution is to send the projector to them. Because they can't provide a tangible proof that their projector can do 120hz on their own side, how can I send the projector to them so they say it's working fine at the end ?? The thing is take, if it's working fine for them : they don't cover all the shipping fees!... I want to return the projector because it can't work the way it says in the user manual, but I can't though the normal Amazon process. I tried to write about this issue to the seller (BenQ INFTY Lab) though the Amazon platform, but it's been two week and they never answered. Now, my only option is either sell it used or take legal action against BenQ.

Good quality image: brightness and resolution. Different inputs very useful, can connect up to five sources. Very easy to setup.
