Works well
Comes with everything and works well. You need to go fairly deep to get them flush. So make sure your counter top is atleast a couple inches thick

Basic wood knowledge is helpful.
I am using these for butcher block countertops. I researched several different options for anchoring my joints, and this was the most cost effective option. Also they are very strong. I used tools owned,,,,,a skill saw and hole saws to create the countersinks. When joining they hold a lot of torque. I can apply a lot of force to the gear driven volt without worry of stripping. My next joint is the 45° corner joint. I will update with how well they hold up while under stress of moving the 300lbs after joining. I also fabricated some steel flat bars to hold the surfaces flush.

Great solution
The zip bolts are very easy to use and as you can see from the pictures did a great job joining to very large slabs of butchers block. After tightening the bolts we were able to pick up the 180lb butcher block and move it around without any effect on the joint. I would recommend getting a 1 3/8” forstners bit ( Diablo bits are great) to cut the hole for the bolt heads and then a 3/8” router bit to cut the channel for the shaft.
