VXi BlueParrott B250-XTS-Noise Canceling Bluetooth Headset (Renewed)

I purchased this for a fellow truck driver as he refuses to use modern technology and I was tired of talking to him with all the background noise and him telling me he had to hang up because there was a cop that seen him holding his phone to his ear. I have the same one that I purchased new that was $60 more then the refurbished one. I set this up for him on his phone that only took 30 seconds and he loves it, in fact, I see him wearing it all the time and it's a pleasure talking to him. If you drive a truck that has a lot of road noise this eliminates all of that. Crystal clear sound. I have been a fan of Blue Parrot for years and will never buy anything else. I drive a Mack truck, and anybody that drives one will tell you there is a lot of road noise but you would never know with this headset. I talk a lot on the phone while I am driving and sometimes go 2 days without having to charge it again. I will usually put the charger on it before I get out of the truck for the night but you can also have it charging while talking with it as the charging cord is plenty long enough.

I love this headset! I have never in the past been a fan of bluetooth devices like the jawbone because I could never get them to stay in my ear. So, I had resigned myself to using wired headsets with the soft earbuds. However, my husband bought one of these, and I used it a couple times while on his phone. I was hooked. So I ordered my own set. Itis comfortable. The boom mike is sensitive enough to "send" my voice, but eliminates a great deal of background noise. And, It is much easier to hear through the earpiece while there is background noise. It is even snug enough to stay on my head when I go running or use the elliptical. (That may not apply for everyone because heads come in all shapes and sizes) I would definitely recommend this!

I use this professionally and is the 3rd one of these I've bought.Absolutely the best money I have ever spent on an electronic device.Talk time is unbelievable like days before needing a charge and the units last for years.This is an older unit ,but I buy what I know works .Noise canceling is superior. I can stand next to a running semi truck to get fuel during a conversation.The reason I had to buy this one . My doggy likes it too and destroyed it.

My particular renewed device didn't take the old charger. It takes a barrel plug now so if you lose it good luck

I thought I could pair up with my Android 10e phone but unfortunately it will not pair up to my phone I have the previous one that requires a PIN to charge it instead of the micro SB and I I was that the pin one works great the pin one's the best I recommend it to anybody and everybody but this one with the micro SB charging port as far as I'm concerned ain't worth a crap I'd like to send it back and get my money back or just have them exchange it for the one with the the pin charger that plugs into the bottom it's around 10 I love it I got that thing soaked to the bone I got it dropped in mud and washed it off with it being on and it still worked and it still worked to this day is still works just change off the the foam pads and everything on it but other than that the one with the pain was the best have no problems with it pairing up with my phone I bought two of them I misplaced the other one so I'm stuck with one and I really don't like the micro SB charging port one at all

I've these before when I was driving trucks and I can't any of the other types to work, so I'm going back to this. Had a little issue syncing it to my phone, but works fine.

I have tried the newer and updated models. They were so uncomfortable and i couldn't wear them while in the road. I have had three of these blue parrots 250-xts. Works perfect every time. I listen to podcasts all day while trucking over the headset. Battery last many days on one charge. If you don't listen to things over them, it will last possibly weeks on a single charge.

UPDATE: I will hear the ring through the headset but when I pick up a call, the person cannot hear me. It either stops completely or it goes in and out.Don't buy refurb, I guess. I am really sad because I did like it.I believe the price was lower because it is an older model. I bought this to use for my work phone as I work from home. I wear hearing aids but hate them for the phone. This works much better, the volume is good and the sound quality is good.The charge last all day and then some. I have not had a lot of calls lately so not sure how much that will drain the battery.My only complaint is that it does hurt my ear after wearing for about an hour.
