After having 2 family falls recently down bare oak stairs, including one with a serious injury, we are equipping all bare staircases in our family with these. The silicone backing grips the wood and stays secure, even during vacuuming, but doesn't damage the wood finish. The stair pads are stylish, enhance the staircase look, and are softer on feet than bare steps. Most importantly, our feet are more secure when going up/down stairs so we'll be avoiding future injury and ER trips. Since one of the falls was from the top level, we added this 30 x 30 matching rug at the top. Wish we'd gotten these sooner!

These are great. We refinished from carpet to LVP. We have older dogs and they had troubles with slipping. These made it so easy for them and I still think it looks nice. They were so easy to put down and they haven't slipped once. I did deep clean eash step before putting them down. They have been down for at least 3 months and still hold up amazing.

I appreciate the quality at a reasonable price; doesn't look cheap. The carpet is soft but not too thick. The protective backing came off easily and applied easily. I don't know about wear because it has only been down for a day. But so far, exceeds my expectations.

These are great, super easy to install, look nice and feel good. The only issue is that they lose stickiness when washed. It says you can wash them thirty times without affecting the adhesive … in my experience it was a single wash and now they’re slipping. Seeking a solution to that … better wash/ dry instructions, maybe?

I bought these for the steps in my motorhome and they are a perfect fit! The backing is nice and tacky and the rugs stay in place perfectly. While you can't see them real well in the pictures, they look good and stay put nicely. I am very pleased with the quality and ease I can grab them and shake out the dirt and put them back down. I HIGHLY recommend them!

These stair treads exceeded my expectations! They are a nice solid navy color that went well with my hall colors. They seem well made. I did not notice any weird stitching or loose binding. The bottoms are sticky/grippy, but there is not adhesive that will damage any flooring. For comparison, the grips are very similar to whatever they use on sticky strapless bras. They stay right where you put them, but you can easily pull them up and readjust them. I have not tried washing them yet. We purchased these to help my elderly dog get up and down the stairs without slipping on the hardwoods, and it seems like it is the perfect solution.

Easy to use, great on the feet, and easy to reapply as needed. Helps our dog not slip on the stairs! Well worth the money. I ended up buying them for our other staircase too!

The treads were folded when shipped, but they flattened fairly quickly. I started using a hairdryer to remove the plastic backing, then realized I could accomplish the same thing by loosening the plastic with my hands first. Once loosened, the plastic tore off easily. Then I cut off the washing instruction tag. I had placed marks on each stair, so positioning each tread was easy. All I had to do was smooth them along their length after setting them in place. The whole process for 15 treads, including marking each stair, took about an hour or so. Most of the treads lay completely flat. A few have just a bit of one corner slightly raised. It is not enough to cause a tripping hazard or any other problem I can think of, and it doesn't affect the appearance. The tacky backing grips well. My dog and I have gone up and down regularly for two weeks and they have not budged at all. The treads are thin, about 1/4 inch at most, but the carpet is soft. I haven't had to clean them yet so I don't know how well they'll clean, but there is absolutely no odor. Overall, I'm pleased.

I re-stained the open plan hardwood stairs a lovely red cedar colour which according to my wife made them too dark. The stairs were uncarpeted before (another contentious point) so I bought the Homeer pads (and treads) to lighten the stairs. The difference is amazing. These 5 star reviews don't happen by accident as I did a lot of research before buying them and am pleased to report that they look great. Colour slip resistance, and thickness were excellent. Don't worry about getting the backing off it's dead easy using a hair drier to release the backing

I found the quality of these stair landing mats to be wonderful. They were easy to install and do not slide when walked on. I can easily pull them up to adjust them. The positive reviews and availability of the 30x30 square as individual pieces were key factors in my decision. The corners lift just slightly and I hope they will settle with time. It is not a concern that would prevent me from highly recommended this product.
