Dryden Designs Fountain Pen Ink Cartridges - Set of 24 Black Ink CARTRIDGES - Short International Standard Size - Disposable and Generic Ink Refill Cartridges - Perfect for Calligraphy

I have collected and used fountain pens for decades. I also continue to work in many locations and always carry one with me. I also worry that I will lose them or run out of ink just when I am compiling notes at a meeting or needed to sign something Important. I fear not any longer! I purchased two of the pens in wonderful colors several months ago along with two boxes of ink cartridges (black and blue). They travel well, even on planes as I can remove the cartridge in the pen and replace it again either on Board in the air or when I land to avoid any leakage (although occasionally when I forget to do that I have not had any leakage). Everyone has complimented me on the one I am using at the time and should someone inadvertently start to walk off with it, I can identify it and nicely remind them to return it and let them know where they can obtain their own and at such a reasonable price! “Try it! You’ll like it!” as the saying goes. The hardest part is choosing the color. They are all beautiful! Oh yes, now all my expensive pens get very little use, as these are my ‘go to’ tools of the trade!

Previously I've used the Monteverde USA ink cartridges for my OHTO Tasche fountain pen, which I use primarily at work to take notes during meetings and throughout the course of a day. I go through a cartridge about once a week with how many notes I take. The Monteverde ink is good and I have no complaints but until I tried these Dryden cartridges I would have rated it 5 stars. Now I have to knock it down to 4 stars. The Dryden ink flows smoother and it's darker on the paper. Now this could very well mean the cartridge won't last as long but so far I've been 100% satisfied. I bought these because I was tired of buying 6-cartridge packs. The fit is a bit tight in the pen but it fits with no leakage so there's no complaints to be had there. Overall - great ink! Will buy again.

Great price for getting multi-colored cartridge ink. Easy to use-short international cartridges that work in nonproprietary fountain pens. Colors are bright and so is my wallet!

To be fair, perhaps my Waterman ink was kind of old, but I used up my Waterman inks in my old, Waterman fountain pen and frankly, almost threw the pen away. It was skipping, was scratchy to write with - not how I remembered it at all. I found these inks and thought I'd give them a try since they came in a variety of colors and weren't terribly expensive. It made all the difference in the world! I love my pen again! The writing just flows. The inks are really easy to quickly swap out without any hiccups. Not to mention, I was getting about 6 pages of writing with every Waterman ink cartridge, and I've been getting 11-12 pages with these. (Journaling.) Can't recommend them enough!

These cartridges are great but certainly not for the parallel pens set (specifically the PILOT ones). In addition, they are very very small cartridges. I was surprised at how short they were. They could have made them longer and sold 6 instead of tiny cartridges and 24 coz what’s the point when you have to change the cartridge every one or two pages?

Unfortunately, not one of the cartridges works in the very pen I bought from Amazon. I just went to do a refill only to discover the deadline for return was 1/31/2022. It is my fault that I did not try them as soon as I purchased them. However, at the time I didn't need to use what I had. Now I am out the money and have a box of unused cartridges. Actually, I have 5 other fountain pens and the cartridges do not fit in anyone of them. So, I learned a valuable less about ordering some things online, like pens which I use all the time but can't if I am not able to order refills online.

I bought these for my grand daughters and they were thrilled with the colours as they are just starting to write/draw with fountain pens.

As expected, great ink. Super easy to use without any mess. Has blue and black inside, so you have a choice.

The cartridges come in a small paper box (9cmx4.2cmx1.6cm) which is sealed with a single clear plastic circular sticker. The box is similar to a matchbox. The cartridges are neatly organized in the box, not plastic film wrapped. I have recently purchased a Muji fountain pen and needed replacement cartridges as the one that came with the pen was running out. I hoped that these would be compatible because the listing said "international standard" size. Unfortunately, the opening of the cartridge is just slightly too wide, meaning that the cartridge would not "click" in firmly; it is loose. Despite the looseness, the cartridge seal was broken. Since I would be unlikely to be able to return the pack for a full refund, I took a square of tissue, rolled it up, and pushed it into the handle of my pen and when I screwed it back on over the cartridge, it kept the cartridge from dislodging from the nib part of my pen. It helped the cartridge stay in place and the pen writes smoothly still. This is a fine compromise until I find a better fitting option. Excellent ink.
