SMEG Black 50's Retro Style Electric Hand Mixer with Set of Beaters, Set of Dough Hooks and Set of Whisks

If you like baking using pretty kitchen appliances you will love this Smeg hand mixer. It looks so nice on the kitchen counter and the bubble gum pink is a great fun color. Sometimes when I just see it sitting on my counter it just makes me want to bake some muffins. I had a reliable sunbeam for a long time and loved it but this hand mixer is just so cute. I mostly use it to make cookie dough, cake batter and muffins. It works well for those things. I would not recommend it for big batches of bread dough. It does come with the hooks but I don't believe it would work well for that. I don't make bread but the power on here and the hooks just don't seem built for that. It goes up to 9 speeds and shows info on the digital screen. I believe the speed is comparable to most any other mixer. This is a delicate mixer but does a good job mixing the ingredients. I consider it a showpiece but it does get the job done for easy light baking needs. Yes it is a splurge but if you love pretty appliances and want your kitchen to look retro style just treat yourself to it.

Great mixer! Sturdy built, powerful enough for every mixing job, very good speed control - consistent mix very little variation of speed which produces good end results. And like me very handsome!!!!

I love this little mixer!!! I own a large Kitchenaid with multiple attachments. This little hand held is the one I reach for when I need a mixer. The pop of pink is such an added bonus.

I love this mixer. I hadn’t bought one in about 20 years, so my old one was really basic. I love that this one has so many speeds and I love the multiple sizes/types of beaters that come with it. It’s also really quiet.

Never wanted the heavy mixer stand & bowl that most people are thrilled to purchase. I personally wanted a simple handheld mixer and I’m so glad to have found this one. It’s light weight, easy to handle, easy to store, looks nice and functions as it should. I do not regret and in fact highly recommend!
