Super cute activity book, my 9 year old girl loved it! Very detailed pages

this has some of the most detailed scratch art i've come across, which is great fun. It's a bit tricky at times, i need a bright light to make sure i am being neat, but this isn't a problem. I do a lot of crafts, so i have a light for this anyway. the covering is really sturdy, and the extra cardboard at the edges helps keep the scratch art pages safe and stops them getting damaged. I have mixed feeling about the ring binder. It's easy to turn pages, but they print the pattern behind or under it, so i feel like some of the pattern is lost to this, which is a bit of a shame. I've had other books where the pages were easy tear out, and i feel like perhaps this might be better. but overall i love this book. it's got gorgeous, detailed patterns that will keep you entertained for hours. But i wouldn't recommend for young children, as it is probably far too difficult and detailed for them. I'd say this is more a teen-adult level scratch art. however, this same brand do more scratch art books for different ages, so there is bound to be one that is suitable for younger kids.

I LOVE this book! I use it to relax at night before bed because it’s so calming. The only gripe I have is the scratch pen isn’t sharp enough and sometimes you have to press really hard or turn it till you find the perfect spot to scratch. Other than that, I love it and bought one for my boyfriend and sister
