Perfect, extra-firm insoles
These insoles are exactly what I wanted and needed — something that prevents my feet from flexing too much when I walk, along with some cushioning. The padding is not very thick, so if you need something that is soft with lots of cushioning, then these aren’t for you. But if you want something extra-firm, these are the best I’ve found — especially for the price. Other insoles that I’ve used in the past easily cost twice as much, if not more. I’ve only been wearing them for a couple of days, so I’m curious how long they’ll last. But they seem sturdy, so I think they should be good for a long time. I plan to buy extra pairs.Update: It turns out that these have lasted a year and a half, which I think is quite good. I’m buying two additional pairs.

A bit TOO thick
Solid, firm, and that’s good - but it was a bit too thick for my shoes. I wished it was half as tall so that they would fit into my shoes, because I do really like the firmness. Had to return them after trying them real quick.

Not for medium width women's shoes; not for those needing firm arch support.
The arch support of this insert is not nearly high enough for me. My arch doesn't even make contact with it. In addition, the insert seems to be a unisex item; made to fit a man's shoe which is much wider than a women's medium width. I suppose it's possible they might fit a wide women's shoe, but I don't know since that's not what I wear. There are grooves marked along the toe end so you can customize the length. That doesn't help with the width, which I wouldn't even try to cut because it's too rigid. Bottom line; I can't use these.

These might be my new go-to
I have fallen arches and newly discovered bunions. While my feet have been flat since high school, I never knew what bunions were until about a year and a half ago. I went to see my husband's podiatrist and she told me to stop wearing heels (which I don't really do often anyway), to wear wide shoes, and to always have arch support (even around the house). I haven't followed her advice completely (as I cannot afford to replace shoes yet...), but I have been wearing arch supports. I started noticing my feet are achy and sometimes I have pain in my arches after a long day. I realized that I've been wearing the same supports for over a year! So, it's time to get some new ones.My previous insoles were the Powerstep brand. They were nice and I liked them. However, I am really happy with these HappyStep insoles. They are nice and firm and provide great arch support. The first day I wore them it felt weird, but I felt fully supported. I love them. I feel like my gait has improved. I'm looking forward to purchasing new shoes that can house these insoles.

Insoles that fit
I have Puma skate shoes and the insoles were worn out. I popped these in and it was like having new shoes.

There are not soft to touch hard and more like for work shoes but one would have to add additional padding. Not a Happy foot insert for me .

Very Comfortable
My doctor suggested that I get diabetes insoles because I'm having a problem with my toe, because of the good reviews and price I decided to purchase this brand. I noticed a difference right away, I'm walking so much better and my shoes feel like new. Too soon to see a difference in my toe, however I will recommend these even if you don't have any problems but want a more comfortable shoes.
