Works with existing latches!
10/10 amazing lock. First to note, the keypad doesn't do codes in a certain order. You just select the numbers/letters you want and can push the buttons in any order to make it unlock. Installation: Honestly not too hard, but you will have to cut the screws and latch stick shorter, which isn't hard if you have a small handsaw or in my case an oscillating tool or zip wheel. First thing you'll want to do if your door won't work with the flush mount latches, is take out the flush mount latch. This will require that your door already has a latch cut into it, in my case an andersen lock was there. You'll have to drill new holes for mounting, but luckily the vinyl and wood of the door is easy to drill through and with the rubber seals it doesn't matter if the holes are a little big, they are clearance anyways. Put both sides of the new lock up to the door with the latch stick running between them and through the old latch. This is how you get your hole positions. Now before you assemble it, get the code set, pretty straight forward in the instructions, you will need a small flathead screwdriver. Get that squared away and move on to the assembly. This part is tricky and caused me some headache. Get the screw poked through the indoors portion of the lock, and place it through the holes you've drilled. Now it's positioned and ready for the outdoors half to go on. Put the latch stick in the rectangle hole in the outdoors portion and then stick it through existing latch and indoors half of the lock. IF THE SCREWS OR LATCH STICK ARE TOO LONG, MAKE A NOTE AND CUT THEM OFF. Do not force them together, you'll break stuff. Get it put together and there may be one last part. If it works now, great! I had to do a little more. I had to swap the latch plate for the small black one they sent and I had to adjust the stick put of the latch so it didn't pop back out after you unlock it. Then I had to cut a small notch into the outside of the door frame where the exterior handle can swivel into, because it's tight. Hope this helps any self installers out there, I'm not responsible if you break something lol.

Worked for about 4 months...now won't open
I really liked this lock. Clean look / design, simple, functional. But after about 4 months of use, the clear function doesn't work, which means you can't enter a code, which means you can't unlock it. Opened it up as per the instructions as if to change the combo, everything appears clean and normal. Super disappointed. Working for 4 months is obviously unacceptable. Unfortunately, I'm outside of my return window...now I have an expensive paper weight. Seller, do you have a fix??? Open to ideas.

Works like a charm!
This product was the only piece of hardware that checked all my boxes. No keys? Check. Weather Resistant? Check. Works on sliding Barn door? CHECK. Installation wasn't too difficult as long as you're handy. Don't let the reviews discourage you. This exceeded my expectations.

It works ok on sliding doors, but not reliably
This is one of the few digital combo locks that work on sliding doors. Unfortunately, we've had some reliability problems with it. The whole "digital" mechanism is mechanical only. One time it just failed to lock properly and we had to take the lock apart to reset the combination which somehow got it to start working. Also, if the lock is not positioned perfectly, you can lift the door to unlock it. Bottom line, this is helping keep honest people out, but doesn't really do anything for the true burglar.

Works for barn doors
One of a few locks I could find for my barn door since it slides open and dose not swing open. For the price this thing was perfect, and it’s code accessible so others can get in when I’m not home.

Stop working when temperature gets higher somehow!
I really wanted to love this lock, there are few options on the market for keyless latch door lock. Over a year ago we gave it a shot, install was easy, the keyless function was nice, however, we noticed that once the temperature got to about 80F, it would stop working, the C button used to reset would stop engage with the whole lock. Either we had to try to push the C button hopefully it got to the point to unlock somehow, or only use it in autumn to winter. we suspect the spring inside is temperature sensitive. Wanna leave this feedback to the manufacture to get awareness on this issue.
