I am in love with this. Grip, look, well built though and built, easy installation, feel like a genuine weight lifting equipment, and value of money is excellent. Easy to adjust after each workout. Who ever designed this and made this, really put his or her brains behind this product.

Yes, the plastic does feel a bit cheap, and I'd be concerned about the nuts not holding up, but I have standard issue dumbbell poles, squat bar, nuts, and clamps, and these weights fit perfect on the regular metal bar and dumbbell bars that I have. For what this is, it's an amazing value -- truly. But I'm not worried about the plastic bars and nuts holding up, so understand that. I needed more weights, and the versatility and quality of these plastic covered plates is awesome -- I do love the plastic coated weights more than the old school no coating metal plates. I had a huge set at one time, had to downsize to the 2.5 + 5 pound plates when I moved. I've been putting together a new home gym, and when these came as a lightening deal, I caved to the marketing -- but it really was a good deal, and I can now use my choice of bars, and have plenty of weights to work with. The only thing that would make this better would be if the chest press/kettle ball came with a second pin so that we could make two kettle balls, not just one. Many kettle ball routines use a kettle ball in each hand, and I don't think you can buy the little stem separately. That would be awesome -- perhaps the seller will allow a separate purchase. Anyway, this set is a great addition to my evolving home gym. I'd probably be less excited if I didn't have my own standard gym bar and dumbbell sets, but that's okay. I think this would be an excellent set for anyone just getting started.

These are awesome but only 4 stars cause the orange screws come loose easily so BE CAREFUL. They came a part a few times mid exercise and almost smashed a few toes. The family uses this set A LOT though.

These are easy to put together and adjust. Sturdy and good to handle for exercise.

So excited to start using them. I love that it's easy to create combinations of weights depending on your workouts. These are great for traveling during extended periods (at in-law's for two weeks) but also for home. I'm working on increasingly building up my strength and I have 20 to 25 lbs. dumbells for the 5 lb gap is now fulfilled by these that are 22.5 each, plus they can be put together as a barbell. Very exciting!

Don’t buy, it took a long time to get to me and on top of that it’s ok quality, but the weights come in weird weights, like 4.5,3.5,2.5. The 4.5 is the heaviest one I got. They are easy to assemble, and u can work out with them but will I buy or recommend, NO.

I really like this Dumbbell set. It has nice feel to the texture. And although plastic, (or perhaps vinyl), they don’t feel cheap. The set looks good, too. I like the Orange and Black look, compared to the other Red and Black sets available. I also really like that you can spin the orange locking nuts on by giving them a good hard spin - and they'll keep going - sometimes all the way on, (depending on how hard you initially spin them), without having to constantly keep turning and cracking them all the way on. (Same with removing them.) The orange locking nuts have 2 opposing 'extended nubs' on them, to aid in cranking them down tight. There is a foam-padded area on the center bar that would touch or rest on the back of your neck, when using the bar fully extended with both arms. The two shorter individual threaded bars turn in quite far - all the way into the center bar for added stability. There are also 2 Kettle Ball Handles, and a dedicated Kettle Ball End Piece, which helps me keep a controlled grip on them, when slowly and carefully using the weights to dip behind my back and shoulders, (among other alternate exercises). The spacious openings of the Kettle Ball Handles are plenty wide enough, as well, (if two hands are required or preferred), allowing for different positions to hold, grasp, and maneuver them. For a really good product, it’s very well priced, compared to the other options available. I’m happy with the set! [One Word of Caution: I would caution against dropping them, though, as they are most likely filled with sand, (or something similar), and could therefore crack and split open, if dropped from high enough up. There is a bit of a slippery feel to them to be aware of.] Each Dumbbell arrived individually protected in its own soft sleeve.

I am the one who mentioned a missing dumbbell plate earlier. I never paid attention until today when I assembled them again one more time and noticed all the plates are correct.
