I've used this product for YEARS and love it! Super healthy and nice hair, and with a nontoxic product! If you have harsh water, chlorinated or heavily chlorinated water etc this might not be enough to wash away all the oil that your body has generated to compensate for the loss of oil due to the harsh water. The same can be said of using stronger/harsher shampoo. Your body will compensate for the loss of oil, and this will not be enough to wash away that oil. When you first start to use it, your skin will need to adjust to not creating so much oil, and you'll need to use it for a few days before your hair stops being too oily. During this transition, you can wash your hair more frequently, and then back off as your body adjusts. The only frustrating thing is that it does not suds up (I think this is partly the reason it is not too harsh) and doesn't easily get below the surface of my hair to my scalp. I've thought I could use a bottle with a spout (similar to the perm bottles or the old restaurant ketchup bottles) so that I can apply it directly to my scalp, but haven't tried this. For now, I just use a bit more shampoo, and spend a bit more time working into my hair. :) Would not go with any other product!

Nice relaxing, herbal, gender neutral smell. Usually I prefer a scentless shampoo because I don't enjoy perfume smells but I've been using this for weeks now and have developed no aversion to the smell. At any rate the scent really does not linger in my hair, but I wouldn't mind if it did. I don't need a big bottle as I only wash my hair every 3-4 days, so it lasts me a while. I use it w/the citrus neroli conditioner (can also be used as a leave in) and the rose and apricot leave in cream conditioner. I have no problems with dryness and have only seen improvements to shine and the strength of my hair. I have fine,long hair and only shampoo my scalp and deeply condition only the ends of my hair...that may be why I haven't experienced dryness. It completely cleans without stripping my hair. I have noticed no buildup of any kind.

I'm a big fan of the John Masters line, but this shampoo is not one of my favorites. The smell is very herbal, but in a slightly medicinal way. It creates a nice lather in the shower, though it felt a bit stripping (while wet). That being said - after I used this (in combination with the John Masters lavender avocado conditioner / apricot hair milk) - my hair *did* look quite nice !

I love the shampoo, it helps my dry hair. I’m not a huge fan of the smell but I can deal with it. I will buy again.

I have tried many, many organic products for my hair (fine, dry, color-treated) and this is by far my favorite. The mild scent is very pleasant, and it only takes a little shampoo to lather up nicely. It leaves my hair feeling soft and shiny. I use this with the detangler and my hair looks very healthy. I am on my third bottle of this stuff and no plans to change anytime soon!

I have used their products for years. Always great products. My hair feels and looks better. The price is competitive and products last.

I love that the ingredients are clean but I was not a fan of the scent. I’m big into how my product smells and this I was not a huge fan of. I also felt like it was overly drying to my hair. It for my hair clean though.

Zartes leicht nach Kräutern duftendes Shampoo. Hervorragend verträglich, wirkt sich positiv auf die Kopfhaut aus. Recht ergiebig. Für langes Haar würde ich zusätzlich noch einen Conditioner empfehlen.

Non fatevi impressionare dal colore ( è marrone )non contiene coloranti , peg e altre sostanze nocive per il cuoio capelluto. Fa schiuma , cosa che a me piace , sennò mi sembra di non lavarmi . Ha un profumo meraviglioso, molto naturale ,per nulla artificioso . Già dal primo shampoo si ha la sensazione di ottima detersione . All ‘asciugatura i capelli sono leggeri , vaporosi e idratati . Raccomandatissimo

Fabulous, smells beautiful, leaves hair feeling so fresh, clean, incredibly soft (I mean like massively! My hair is long, thick, wavy, frizz prone, quite dry usually), I love how naturally healthy it is compared to many toxic brands (I've switched from Redken Allsoft), I love it.
