I first was introduced to this type of toy by Petlinks at a TJ Maxx on sale for only $2.99. My aging cat is over 10 years old and it takes much to get him excited. He basically likes to sleep with me, sleep without me or gaze thru the window at the outside. He no longer goes out the window as he may have trouble getting back up from the outside. He comes alive with this toy. Now the Pink Version is bigger with more frills hanging down and Squaked much louder, but I prefer this quieter chirp and Buster still loves it. It brings back the kitty inside when I tie a string and stick to it. I need to find a way to get it to spin around so he can play when I am gone. He prefers this to expensive cat toys that kitty's love. Best cat toy I have found so far. For $2.99 it is a winner. 5 Stars (I have no affiliation with the Company).

We bought this three years ago as a joke because it was so loud. Our boy Bruce doesn’t really okay with toys, but when we brought this thing home he went mad! He played with it all night and kept us up for hours at night that first week. But he was having so much fun we couldn’t take it away from him. Since then, we have had to put this in subscribe & save because we have to order 1 a month. He wears them out so much that the voice boxes start getting scratchy and eventually stop working. We have tried different bird toys throughout the years but he is uninterested in every other one - except this blue/red parrot. It has been dubbed his “Birdie.” He carries it everywhere and will bring it to you when you’re sad or lonely to help you feel better. He loves to find rooms/stairwells in each place we have lived that have great acoustics so he can hear it louder. Scream right along with the chirps. He is a quirky cat, but I’m so thankful we found something that brings him as much joy as this does! We probably have 20-30 birdies in the house at any given time since we have ordered them for so long. If you get overstimulated easily, I wouldn’t order this. It’s extremely loud and if it becomes your cat’s comfort object like what happened to us, you’re screwed. 😂 For anyone else we HIGHLY recommend! And Brucee does too!

I love these cat toys. My cat recently passed away unexpectedly. I am widowed and live alone so I had my daughter who volunteered with our local animal shelter, put out feelers for the perfect kitty who is looking for a furever home. I was looking for a cat that likes to cuddle and likes to lay in my lap and is a couple of years old not a kitten. I figured it might take a little while. Some of the volunteers, especially one get to know the cats well and would be able to find just what I needed. To my surprise she immediately said that she had the perfect kitty for me. This one checked off all the boxes. I needed to get new toys for him. My other cat had one of these toys and I found this one. Just make sure you remove the little battery saver that keeps the toy from playing the sounds and draining the battery. This bird has a soft chirping sound when the cat plays with it. My cats throw the bird and it chirps away. I always know when they are playing with it. The bird is not cheaply made. It lasts with the bird’s chirping sound lasting a long time to the delight of my cats. The bird is colorful, cute and well made. If you are looking for a good toy for your cat, this toy should be at the top of your list.

I bought the Petlinks Tweet Thing. My cat loves this bird ball toy, it is her second one. The first one stiopped making sound after a long time of use and was looking ragged.. Bought this new one but cat batted the toy and it hit the floor and sound stopped. She still like to play with it sometimes but not as much now the sound isn't working. Would have given a 5 star but this one didnt last as long as first sone o I am giving 4 starts for durability issues with some.

The first toy I received rarely chirped, even when vigorously played with. I asked for a replacement and it was received the next day. This one works very well and my cats enjoy it very much. It is very well-made so it should last a long time.

I have this toy 3 stars overall because the cats LOVED it right away! However, when they first touched their gift from Santa this Christmas morning, almost every feather fell on our floor. Seconds later a smaller feather had to be taken out of one of cats mouths. They love the bird sound-it does draw their attention but we have to watch them with this toy and it’s barren now with only 2 feathers left on it. I think the glue the company used to put the feather in just didn’t take or dried up in the packaging/shipping process. Asked Amazon for help but I can’t “return” a Santa gift without the kids asking questions. They told me to leave this review instead. Disappointed in Amazon-they usually send a replacement when you have picture and proof that an item is defective.

Cats love it!.. bought three times so far because they go crazy and have torn them up so badly. If you ever have to contact the seller, they are a great person who stand behind what they sell.

Bought this toy because it had more natural feathers and a Tweety Bird sound when struck. However I thought it would be like the bird tweeter plush ball the same brand cells. My cat would play Fitch with that since she was a kitten and she's over three now and it's finally started to die. This feather chicken with a tweeter barely worked out of the box and none of us could get it to tweet when we would tap or roll it. I had to grab it and hit it on the floor to get it to tweet. Also the bottom part which is a ball and contains the tweeter is very large and very hard. The plush bird ball tweeter was soft and you couldn't hardly feel the device inside. It was very tiny. This one is huge and you could launch it at a home invader to give them a lump on the head. Not very safe for playing fetch with your cats. Please recall these and add new tweeters that are not almost dead and make the bottom a soft plush not a hard golf ball.

My cats LOVE this toy they go crazy for the chirping sounds. The feathers didn't last long only because they love it so much HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Toy arrived ripped, without packaging and not fully working after a price mark up of over 100%. Will not order again.

My cat will just swat at this toy by himself until he’s tired. I think he really likes that it makes noise every time he touches it. Really uses those hunting instincts! Not sure how long the battery will last but I will definitely be buying a replacement when it’s dead.
