Hi-Yield (35262) Triclopyr Ester (16oz)

This is the only product that killed a major wild violet weed infestation that had taken over half of my yard for 5 years. It is expensive compared to other treatments that didn't work and I used a pump sprayer at the listed concentration of 1oz./2 Gallons water. On 1/6 acre, the 8oz. bottle lasted 2 treatments in the summer. Some of violets wilted within an hour, but the complete die out to dried brown remnants took about 3 weeks. The grass around/under the violets surprizingly survived. The violet's underground rhizomes are hard to kill, they look dead but I won't know until next spring. This treatment is strong smelling and may hurt your lungs. Read the safety directions and wear a heavy duty painters mask or something similar.

Works! I have applied a few times due to neighbor. Her ENTIRE yard is creeping Charlie…so of course it’s gonna “creep ” to my yard. I keep it mixed in a spray pump and use it as needed. Great stuff

This product worked very well in clearing out the spots of crabgrass I had in my fescue lawn. Frankly, I was surprised at its effectiveness. The fescue grew properly while the crabgrass turned black, curled up and died. It worked on the first application but I put on a second application 6 weeks later just to be sure. If it returns next year, I will apply it early. Frankly, this is now the only product I use to eradicate crabgrass.

I purchased this to try to get rid of the creeping Charlie in the yard. I applied it once already and it seems like it has reduced the amount of that weed that I see in the lawn. It was easy to mix and just apply it with a pump sprayer. I did another application last fall and hoping to see more results.

Have tried numerous products and creeping Charlie keeps coming back! NOT with this, this works, awesome! Takes a couple weeks, but kill when coated as directed. Highly recommend.

This product killed nothing. Specticide works better.

I've used this product for several years to help control Bermuda grass in my lawn. I have a few neighbors that do not treat their lawns, so it is a constant battle for me to keep their Bermuda out of my fescue blend. The instructions are clear, though the font is a bit small for my aging eyes. It's a simple mixing ratio when using a pump sprayer, and only takes about a minute to from mixing to spraying once you've done it a few times. I typically treat 2 or 3 times per year, and one of these bottles will last me about 2 or 3 years, depending on the severity of the infestation. If you live in a windy area (like me), I highly suggest also adding the Hi-Yield Spreader Sticker to help the application stick to the blades of grass better.
