This thing was really solidly built and fit nicely over my 1 1/8 Surly Krampus fork to install a new star nut (which were included with the tool). It took a few solid whacks with a good RUBBER mallet (don't use a steel hammer) and the star nut was properly recessed and well-centered. Probably took less than a minute. I've had some bad experiences with non-name-brand, inexpensive bike tools... Made of cheap, soft metal that gets chewed up in just a few uses... stuff like that. This isn't one of those tools. It exceeded expectations for the price.
