NOW Foods BetterStevia Organic Zero-Calorie Extract Powder, Keto Friendly, Suitable for Diabetics, No Erythritol, 4-Ounce

I've been using stevia for many years and recently made the mistake of trying a stevia-erythritol blend because the price seemed attractive. That product was barely sweet - I had to double the amount I normally use and still couldn't get adequate sweetness. Plus, I learned erythritol may pose cardiovascular health risks. I quickly returned that product and came back to NOW Foods BetterStevia, which I've repurchased several times. I discovered it pays to buy it in bulk - the 1-pound size is excellent value for regular users. This is pure stevia with perfect sweetness and flavor. I don't have to guess at quantities or use excessive amounts. I use it in overnight oats, tea, coffee - anywhere I would use sugar - and it performs beautifully every time. After my disappointing experience with the blend, I truly appreciate the consistent quality and reliable sweetening power of this pure stevia. It's worth paying a bit more for a product that actually works and doesn't contain questionable additives. I give this 5 stars and won't be experimenting with other brands again!

Guilt free sweetness with none of the anxiety of fillers, additives, or the newest unintended side effect you read in the paper. Just pure stevia extract! Sweet tooth indulgence without the sweet tooth consequences. It's great for adding to, say, unsweetened Greek yogurt when you want to make your own froyo. The serving wand is pretty handy as well: you're gonna wanna follow its directions, as it goes a much longer way than sugar. Because of that, it's also gonna last you pretty long: we're talking several months over the course of a single year. It should be said that-- because there's none of those other additives-- it's not as friendly to hand mixing as conventional sugar is. Also, my bias is that I don't really pick up on what people claim to be the noticeably different taste of stevia: if anything, I like the fact it's not like the same as the usual sugar. Still, easy to add to a sweet treat for a healthier alternative to what you might get in store. Good concentration for a high quality product.

Very good taste and good value since it's powdery and you don't need a lot.

I ordered the four ounce. Due to inflammation that caused some health issues, I decided to cut down on sugar intake. I never was a sugar junkie to begin with but I figured so many groceries I buy have too much added sugar or salt. Salt is another story. Anyway, I bought this sweetener mainly because it's natural without the Erythiritol you'll find in other Stevia leaf sweeteners. Taste is great, but it is extremely potent so little is needed. That tiny spoon that I didn't know comes with it, I found in there a month after I got it. I felt like a kid again with a Cracker Jack box prize inside. ;) I use two level tiny spoon fulls in my coffee. You may need only one. Seemed pricey to me but now I know why. 4oz container with 2511 servings. That'll last me a long time. I've included a pic next to a sharpie for scale.

Sweetens well, excellent product (assuming that 'organic' and '100% stevia and 'no-additive ' claims are accurate), but plastic container top very difficult to pop open. Bottom line: better for ong-term health than other stevias with maltodextrin or sucralose additives.

I’ve been using stevia for several years, back before erythritol started making its way into product. I discovered erythritol being added due to the change in taste of the product. I recently purchased the NOW brand due to price and promise of purity. But this is so incredibly concentrated and sweet, I am highly suspicious there is erythritol added as I have never had stevia this sweet before and never this much product at this price. I still gave 4 stars as I am hoping I am incredibly wrong and that this is the most amazing stevia ever for price and sweetness, and lack of aftertaste. And if I am wrong, my apologies and shoutout to you NOW for providing a quality product at an attainable price.

Great product, no additives and good flavor.

I don't know quite what to say about this NOW Foods, Certified Organic Better Stevia Extract Powder except to say that the Stevia Powder I had purchased before was POWDER and this Stevia, though listed as only Stevia Leaf Extract Powder on the ingredients list on the product bottle, it sure doesn't pour like it is just the pure powder form but like something is added that makes it pour out faster. This Stevia pours out just like the Stevia packets you can buy at Walmart and the reason I didn't buy it at Walmart was because I was trying to stay away from whatever is added to the powder that causes it to pour more smoothly than the pure powder. I just want the powder. If you want your Stevia to pour smoothly, then perhaps this is what you want, but it was not what I was hoping it to be which is the pure powder. At least it doesn't pour the same as the powder I had purchased before that was just the powder that doesn't really pour but rather you have to shake it out. As I have no way of confirming that there is something additional in this product, all I can say is to try to describe the difference, so there it is. It still tastes the same but the trouble with this for me is that it pours out too fast for me and I always get too much and it makes my tea too sweet. I prefer the softer powder over this more granulated kind because it is more controllable when I have to shake it out and that way I don't get too much. But as for taste, it is the same and there is no difference in the flavor, so I have to say it is not what I was looking for but it might be fine for people that want the convenience of Stevia that pours more smoothly.
