This is a great looking rack for a great price. It would've been nice for the pieces to be more sturdily connected together (longer inserts, for example). The way it is, a bend has developed on the front junction. I'll try to straighten it with a brace of some sort. I mounted this basket on Thule Wingbar Evos. The mounting clamps are wide enough for the Wingbars, but seem to only rest on the top edge. After tightening and going for one trip the plastic cushions seem to have moulded to the Wingbars better, so the weight is more evenly distributed. Otherwise, this is great value and does the job and the wind noise isn't too bad.

Material is not that sturdy as the loading capacity is 150LBS, and I did not buy it for that. Looks cool on the roof rack of my black 2010 Explorer and complements. Its value for the money.

Bought this summer for our VW Atlas Cross Sport and it fits great and is very well made. We were able to put a carry case and several camp chairs in it and had no issues. You do get a bit of road noise from it, but it didn't bother us. We put a piece of plywood between our carry case and the basket so that the bolts wouldn't damage our bag. It worked great.

Before purchasing I read a lot of comments and there were quite a few complaining about the seal of the joints and the formation of rust. Well this must be an improved model because all bar joints were sealed to perfection. There's no way water will enter into the interior of the structure as you can see from one of the closeup photos. Ease of mounting and also instructional video on YouTube made it very easy to install. I quickly tested on the autobahn and up to 120km there was no evident noise, over this speed it started to whistle. However it was empty. In any case once loaded I don't think anyone is going to go faster. As for the product Highly Recommended. The double center plates to join the middle piece are very strong. Arrived as stated and packed in strong cardboard box with instructions in English.. 👍

Comodo, facile da montare e abbastanza robusto. Per motivi aerodinamici l'auto consuma visibilmente di più e fa molto più rumore.
