I’ve now bought 2 of these - the 3.6 and 5.4kg weights. As an already active and fit 49 year old woman looking to improve bone density and posture this is a great tool to add to walks. I wouldn’t recommend as a running vest as it’s probably not secure enough. If in doubt on weight go lighter and swap out if needs be. It feels heavier to pick up and put on than it does to wear as the weight distributes but be aware you’ll be putting extra load onto your body weight overall and increased pressure on joints and feet so go steady if it’s your first. To anyone concerned about the elastic straps as per the painful looking pics woth some reviews - don’t be! They’re wearing their vests upside down!! The padded straps are very comfortable, the elastic goes at the bottom. The clue is the label under the clasp being the right or wrong way up!

Cant really fault the product other than value for money. Its well made, comfortable, adjustable, fits well, easy to use and adjust. The weight feels good and its distributed pretty evenly i feel ie. Not all on your front. However I saw a bery similar product in Aldi for three times less.

Honestly, 5 stars is deserved for this product as I cant find any faults with it.I did a lot of research on multiple brands when I was choosing a weighted vest and everything kept coming to this particular item. Some review points:Vest does feel heavy to pick up and move around but is nicely distributed around the upper body once on.A good fit overall with very little movement while I exercise. The two chest straps make all the difference.Very well made and the quality of materials, shape and stitching is excellent. No fear of anything ripping or tearingComfort - I have worn the vest without anything underneath and it did not pinch or rub/irritate my skin at all.Looking on online, a weighted vest should ideally weigh between 5-10% of your body weight. I choose an option at the hight end of this range. When I put the vest on first, given how well the weight itself is distributed, I thought I have made a mistake going too light but it certainly has increased the overall effort need to achieve the same workout results without it on.Overall, very happy with this product and use it daily. Would definitely recommend this weight vest.

I bought the 7kg. Great for 1 hours walks, but I wouldn't want to try running in it! Also, if you have a small frame and no boobs, then this vest is large and the adjustable strap is not enough. This means that the vest cannot sit snug against your body and moves around when you walk.

PLEASE NOTE THE 5.4kg WEIGHTED VEST (and I'm guessing the 3.6kg will be the same) comes wish ELASTICATED STRAPS !!!!! As you can imagine with 5.4kg hanging off elastic straps, that pulls them down and stretched them and within just 2 mins was digging in so badly to my skin that I couldn't wear as i had red patches and welts on my shoulders !!!! (see images - sorry had to take Tshirt off so you could see the marks). How anyone designed something weighted like that with elastic straps (bearing in mind that 5.4kg is nearly a stone in weight) is beyond me as seems ludicrous!!Just to note (the 7kg in padded, however thats a bit heavy for me so will have to return also)

I’ve only worn it a few times so far. It seems well made comfor table to wear. I am 5’6 approx 60kg female. I wouldn’t be able to run in it as it would move around too much & I cant tighten it any more. However I bought it for walking.The only negative is the smell it’s like a strong petrol smell. I have hung it outside for a couple days but the smell is not going. This is my reason for only giving 3 stars

Great vest, initially felt heavier than 7.2kg, but once on you get used to the weight. The vest is easy to put on & do up & it’s very comfy. I wear it over something lightweight for walking.
