The iconic Smart Case reinvented: new design, new functionality! The Smart Case V2 is a portfolio for people looking for innovative objects with a contemporary design. This model is water resistant and has a metal clasp. Review: Premium quality - It's a metal box that forms a Faraday shield around your cards so that data cannot be exchanged with any that bear an RFID chip. As such, it removes a theoretical mechanism by which criminals can steal from you. The box comprises two aluminium halves in a clamshell formation that come together with a hinge on one long edge and a steel catch on the other. Inside the box sits a plastic moulding to which is attached a concertina arrangement of pockets to hold standard-sized banking cards. The basis of the card holder is very simple. There are no complex spring mechanisms to eject cards which means there are few points of potential failure. It feels well designed and well built. The plastic lining is shaped in such a way that when the two halves come together, a lip and recess arrangement limits potential water ingression. It is water resistant rather than waterproof. If you immersed it in water, it would likely still fill with water! There is no play in the hinge and the steel catch feels robust. All of this means that it not only provides protection against unsolicited RFID signals but also provides a good degree of physical protection compared to a soft, conventional wallet. The length and width means that the case perfectly accommodates the size and shape of banking cards. Opening the case, removing a card, reinserting a card and closing the case again is quick and easy with no issues whatsoever. The width is not excessive for the number of cards the case can hold and compares with the width of a conventional wallet. It is also possible to fold cash and slip it into one or more of the pockets. You could put a few coins in too but they would rattle around. This case really is aimed at card rather than cash storage. I only received the case today so I cannot comment on its longevity but first impressions are that this is a premium product that looks good, works well and will last. Review: Brilliant piece of kit. Very solid , holds all my cards. - Bought this to replace one I’d dropped and lost in a car park. It was returned intact to my bank by a wonderfully kind gentleman. The bank notified me before I even realised I’d lost it. Unfortunately it dropped on the fastener which broke so it needed replacing. I bought the original somewhere abroad. I’d had it for years and managed to find the exact replacement on desertcart. Not the cheapest but certainly the best.

Quality made, but possible catch problem...
Very well made aluminium card holder. The metal lock, although good, could pose a difficulty to those with less and manual dexterity and strength, otherwise excellent, with space for lots of cards.

A Quality wallet : A sensible purchase
I took the plunge and bought this Wallet after having tried three of the cheap ones which were REALLY cheap in price and quality and they lasted only a few months. After six months of ownership of this one, I have to say that I’m absolutely delighted with this wallet. It is very rigid and tough, and I like the metal catch and the fact that when it’s closed, it’s closed. Very little chance of it opening accidentally like with the cheap ones. I’ve read all of the one star and two star reviews and can’t help thinking that perhaps those reviewers were overloading the wallet somewhat. I have 12 cards in mine (I don’t carry cash) and when they are all seated properly in their pockets, it closes smartly with no strain on the hinge or the latch. Try to cram too much in and it will put strain on the wallet pockets, the hinge and the catch. The design can’t be blamed if it is used outside it’s design limits. So far, I don’t regret paying 10 Times as much as the cheap options I’ve used before. Buy cheap, buy twice ( or more in my case ). I will update this review another six months.

Good card wallet but every week plastic internals
For a thirty pound wallet the material of the plastic that separates the cards is very cheap I just got it and it’s slightly broken already can’t imagine it lasting much longer. The wallet would be a 10/10 if the plastic card separator was not even there but I’m not going to give a good review for something I had to partially destroy to recommend.

Stylish and Secure: Aluminium Smart Wallet
I've been using the Aluminium Smart Wallet for nearly a year, and it has truly transformed the way I carry my essentials. This wallet has impressed me in several ways. Firstly, the compact form factor is a game-changer. It takes up minimal space in my pockets, making it comfortable to carry without the usual bulging and discomfort associated with traditional wallets. Despite its slim design, it manages to hold all my essential cards and cash without any hassle. One of the standout features of this smart wallet is its durability. Unlike other wallets I've owned that quickly showed signs of wear and tear, this one's outer casing remains pristine. Even after a year of use, there are no scratches to be found. It's clear that this wallet is built to last. The RFID blocking technology is another valuable feature. Knowing that my bank cards and personal information are secure when I'm out in public brings peace of mind. It's an added layer of security that I appreciate in today's digital age. In conclusion, the Aluminium Smart Wallet is not just a stylish accessory but a practical and secure solution for carrying your essentials. Its small form factor, durability, and RFID blocking make it a must-have for anyone looking to streamline their everyday carry while keeping their personal information safe. I highly recommend it to anyone in search of a reliable and stylish wallet.

Have been hunting for a just right sized wallet. I already own an Ogon Smart Case bill sized (not V2 model) which I've had for a few years. I couldn't make myself spring for the V2 model at that time as it was considerably more expensive. The bill size was great and fits bills easily (folded in half) and overall more capacity than I needed. However, not in any way water proof and the clasp is plastic. I dropped it a couple of times and it opened and my cards when flying. I decided to spring for the small, card sized V2. It fixes those problems. Metal clasp and a seal at the perimeter that makes it at least water repellent if not water proof. I purposely dropped it on a few test runs and it does not pop open. A few bills fit if you don't carry many cards - but needed to be folded to card size - which is fine for me. It has six slots (plastic, but held up on my previous unit no problem). I carry about 4 select bills folded down tight (never use, but as back-up) and 8 cards. I'd say that is the max. Size is awesome and slides great into pocket. Expensive, but a step above and should last a long time.
