This is a 2-layer product. There's an inner metallic-looking lavender balloon, and the outer layer is navy blue. It seems, in theory, to be a great idea, but the inner balloon would burst more often than not when I would try to inflate it to a point where the outer balloon was roughly 8" tall. With the shearness of the outer balloon, you could see the inner balloon had either not inflated fully or had burst, and I had to pull it out and start over with just the blue balloon. On the off chance that both balloons would inflate properly, they were too heavy for helium to keep them in the air more than a few minutes. If I could have inflated them more, that probably would not have been an issue but with the limited capacity, it was. Not a well-thought-out product. Definitely would not recommend purchasing for any important event in your life, as they are probably going to disappoint you.

To say these balloons are everything we wanted is an understatement! The metallic shine was definitely apparent! They use an "inner" balloon that creates the shine and also reinforces the sturdiness. We didn't use all of them, but will be using them again and again! So beautiful!

There is one color inside another that makes these balloons such fun colors!I had no trouble at all (and I have problems with my wrists), tying the blooms- just tie the inner balloon.And I had to pull very hard to get the balloons to tie and none of them broke.A great product and one that doesn’t need helium. I had a hand pump that make this even easier to inflate.

I wanted to LOVE these balloons. They were easy enough to inflate (for doubled gallons) and were the perfect touch in my green/teal/gold balloon garland. Unfortunately, the second I took the garland outside (mild, partly cloudy evening) to hang up nearly every one of the outer balloons began to pop, leaving the horrible black inner ballon. It was VERY disappointing…

It tools us 7 tried to finally inflate because there are two layers(one ballon inside another) that you need to inflate the inside one by mouth, absolutely can Not use helium, a pump nor a compressor yet if you can manage to exhaustingly inflate by mouth, they are absolutely beautiful and elegant looking yet pop quite easily. Buyer beware yet very pretty and delicate, definitely would not use with kids around. They will not float.
