This ligth is very bright reason why i allways use just at 50%. Contact tape is not the best , but simple to fix with any doble contact one. 5 minutes installation,.!!!. Just beautiful.

Update: I decided to buy some real 3M double sided tape and install it. Installation was easy enough. I removed the cover of the subwoofer in the rear of my Jeep to access the wiring for the 12v power plug that’s wired directly to the battery, and connected the wiring for the LED light to it. I also decided to use the remote that came with the light instead of using the switch I bought for it. Twice now I’ve gone out to the Jeep and the light is on. I turned it off with the remote. At some point, it has turned on automatically. NOT happy. Will have to go back to my idea of using a physical switch. I picked a beautiful warm day to install this light in my Jeep Wrangler. Prepared the window mounting location with alcohol, tried to stick it on after peeling back the protective cover — got to about a foot from the start and it started coming loose. 27°C in my garage too. Went back to press down harder — wouldn’t stick. I’m now deciding whether or not to return it or keep it and buy some decent 3M brand tape. What a waste of time (and money). The light is bright enough, and all I need is a single setting for it to come on. But it needs to stay in place. So whoever manufactured this cheaps out on the 2-sided tape. 🤷🏻‍♂️😡

Installation was effortless. The light perfectly fits the rear glass of the best top trek top pro on a 2012 Wrangler. The light is quite bright and has plenty of adjustability. It looks great and works great
