I purchased this RC truck @ $149.00 for two reasons. Reason #1: I have NO plans for upgrading this truck ever! Why? Simple, Arrma Vendetta @ $199.00. I CANNOT upgrade this truck with $50.00 to compete even remotely with a Vendetta, or any other quality brushless RC for that matter. Reason #2: I live in a cul-de-sac, and the curbs within it currently hold a "real world" record of about 15 - 0 against brushless RCs. About the best anyone and their RC car can "EVER" do against a curb is a "draw", meaning Your RC survived for You to play another day. With that being said, one issue that I know exist with this RC, and I have seen it in other reviews, is that the motor and ESC can and do overheat. To remedy half of that, I purchased a dual cooling fan and heat sink combo for the motor. As for the ESC, You cannot mount a fan on it, without fabricating some sort of brace. I run this truck either in the early morning hours or late evening hours. This is so that I don't go into thermal shutdown due to the heat in the SE portion of the US. The RC car can recover if it goes into thermal shutdown, but I wouldn't possibly.I don't do skateboard parks or ramps with any RC that I own. The cooling fan that I did purchase on Amazon is equipped with 30mm dual cooling fans and heatsink (Arrarown, $23.00) and fits a 36 - 38mm brushless motor. This RC has a 570 brushed motor, but the fan system fits like a glove and does a great job at keeping the engine cooler. I run this truck on a 2s Lipo (not included and optional) in 15-minute bursts. At the end of each run, I allow the RC to sit an additional minute or two before powering it off to allow for further cooling of the engine before either storing the RC or running it again. At 22 mph, it is plenty durable in the cul-de-sac! If You can relate to this review, simply get the RC while You can and while it's on sale!

. If u just want a beautiful truck at a good price this is it!!
This truck is perfect for a beginner or someone that wants a project to built up off of. Stock it is NOT fast, but still alot of fun. U don't need alot of space either because of its tame speed. I hope to switch to a 2s lipo, that should help out alot

Great car
I have many of these cars, and even a few from arrma... I love this brand for beginners through experts. Super durable and super easy to get parts.

Terrible out of the box.
Ok so here goes I’ll try to stay objective, although I’m fairly annoyed. First arrma. It’s built pretty well but all plastic and not as sturdy as your average YouTube reviewer might say. It’s pretty thin and pieces snap off. The shocks are a joke. Toy grade. There’s a lot of flex in the chassis. I’m not sure why it comes with a boat anchor but it says mega 570 on it? Quite useless. A drift truck that will not drift. Ok seems legit. The dboots katars are quite possibly the dumbest addition to this car I could ever think of, oh wait said boat anchor. Useless tires. They burn off immediately without upgrading or spinning the tires which it can’t stock. ? All road? Even without a splitter(smart move there) it doesn’t get past my next door neighbors sidewalk. It’s for street use only. Oh and it goes 20. Sweet. Best part it needs sooo much more than a new esc motor combo. You’re looking at well more than just paying the extra for the 3s. Although the same 14mm hex curse applies there too. Figure on basically spending $25 a run on tires. Great stuff out there it’s just not this

Car is fast for beginners
This is my first hobby grade car and it is perfect for me. On downside is that you will eventually want to get higher speed gearing which is hard to find.

Esc cut out
Esc kept cutting out like it was going into hot motor mode even though the motor wasn’t even hot yet. Over all quality truck seems very durable
