Kastar NB-1LH Battery for Canon NB-1L NB-1LH and Canon Powershot S200 S230 S300 S330 S400 S410 S500 Cameras

Canon is selling the replacement battery for the S 200 for $51 plus tax and shipping. This was less than four dollars to my door. As I remember, it came into days with Amazon Prime. It came in a 3" x 5" mylar bag, wrapped in bubble wrap, next was a plastic clamshell retail hanging package, next was a box that the battery came in, and finally there was a five-sided "lid" made of the kind of cardboard Apple used before for their iPhones and iPods. That last cardboard "seal" was so the battery would not slip out and inadvertently arc its contacts. All in all, the seller goes down as my number one li-ion replacement battery vendor. The battery charged up and worked perfectly. Too bad my camera CMOS was borked. The menus worked. The camera turned off and on in the lens extended and retracted. So I know the battery was just fine. Only the display was black, as were all the pictures I tried to take. C'est la vie.

I needed a new battery and this one does the job. I didn’t realize 20 year old batteries would eventually die 😂. I used this for a Canon S400.

The battery was an excellent price cost item. It performed exactly as factory product and I have been very satisfied with the battery performance. I purchased from this vendor because of the price point. I am very happy with the performance, price and service.

This product fit, held the charge and is currently serving the intended purpose... time will tell...

I was really skeptical this battery would work considering it is so ridiculously cheap, but I have had it for a year or so and have not noticed any problems with it--and I'm not a company hack playing overjoyed customer. I haven't done any official tests on it to see how long it lasts, but it has not drawn attention to itself for dying fast or anything. So I say go for it.

I bought two - both have pretty low battery longevity the original (and aged) battery holds up longer. For the price it's tough to complain, but I was hoping for a little better performance/longevity since they're new batteries.

I keep one charging while I use the other. Works great! No problems! I was really sceptical & prepared to return the item, but so far it's great.
