Coredy R400 Robot Vacuum Cleaner, 2000Pa Suction Robotic Vacuum, Works with Alexa, Wi-Fi Connected, Auto Boost Intellect, Quiet Self-Charging Robot Hoover for Pet Hairs

The media could not be loaded. This is our second Coredy Robovac. We still have the first one, the R750, and after two years it is still operating. So why did we buy another? Well, we live in a multi-storey house and my wife wanted one for the upper floors as well. The ground floor is tiled so we use the older one with the water reservoir on that level, and the new one on the upper floors.The R400 is an upgrade to the older one and is a little more powerful. As with the R750 it worked straight out of the box, although we have to admit to having a couple of years familiarity with its operating instructions. The machine has great suction, effortlessly finds its way around obstacles, and is easily emptied. If you are worried about stairs then there is no need. We have found that the ‘cliff’ function works well. Having monitored the robovac and watched it veer away once it detects steps, I can confirm that it won’t fall down. I’ve already mentioned the water reservoir function for surfaces that benefit from a wet clean. Not all robovacs have this feature, so this may well be worth considering if you are in the market for one. Please note that the water tank is bought separately. We have Alexa in the house. If you follow the manufacturer’s instructions it’s fairly straightforward to add it as another device.After sales support is pretty important to us. What I can say is that we did have an unexpected bleeping issue with the older robovac. Unlike many manufacturers, I can say that Peter ? (sorry, forgotten his surname) and Brian Anderson at Coredy were quite happy to take a possible fault query, and well after the first year. The fact that the company was on hand to sort out this out was certainly an influence on us getting a second one.In summary, we think that this is a quality piece of kit from a manufacturer who is willing to provide after sales support as well.Update - I've uploaded a video. As a bonus you get to see part of my slipper which has seen better days ( I feel another purchase coming...)

This is the second unit I bought- previously bought an R500 which is working well, but wanted one for upstairs as well. The R500 was no longer available so I got this as suggested alternative (more expensive) option. It cleans just as well but the remote control is limited compared witht the older one - on that I can set a scheduled clean on the remote, on this you have to faff about trying to pair it with an app on your phone - this doesn’t work for me at all so Ijust use it manually. Step backwards overall from the earlier one, but good value.

I bought out of sheer curiosity and honestly thought I would be putting on eBay to try recoup the money, but I'm highly impressed and most definitely keeping. Its fantastic we find it's almost impossible to hoover with young kids and don't want to wake them up when they are sleeping. This is so quiet it doesn't wake them. Once the kids are in bed and we picked up all the toys, me and the wife put our feet up watch telly and let the hoover do its thing and it's great at it. Suction power is by far better than I imagined. It easily picks up hair and even comes with a tool to cut the hair off of the brush. I haven't tried Alexa as I don't have an echo however I have downloaded the app and I can control it with my phone. The app is easy to use I had no problems with setting it up and it also comes with a remote control if you don't want to use an app. I have no complaints we love it

After a discussion with Paul from customer support about some technical queries, I felt assured and ready to buy another after already having purchased the r750 last year so I have one robot for upstairs and one for downstairs now.They both have fantastic suction and are considerably quieter than a normal hoover for my three young children and two puppies. I enjoy the fact that I can sit down at night time and just ask it to turn on through Alexa or direct it with the remote/let it go freely. The fact that it is easy to clean and replace filters etc is a must as I have very little time some days.I’d like to mention the fact that the accessories that come with these robovacs are everything that you will ever need. That fact that they can wet clean floors as well as hoover - score! Anything advice you need, all you have to do is call the after sales team who answer quickly and are very understanding.I’ve attached a small video to give you an idea of how it moves about. I think you’ll not regret it if you buy one of these products, especially since once charged fully, it can last for a long time.

I really liked this r400 vacuum, it is perfect for my flat. Just 18 months old and one of the 2 rotating brushes at the front - which sweeps dust, etc., into the mouth of the vacuum - has stopped rotating. I spoke to CS at Coredy who told me that not only is the model discontinued, but no spare parts are available now, too. I was advised to buy another , newer model from them! Poor show. Obsolete after 18 months, and you want me to buy again from you? I don't think so. I'm looking at iRobot and Roomba now. Repeat custom is what manufacturing success is founded on - not built-in obsolescence.

Absolutely love this product and compared to the price of some of the other robot hoovers available on amazon this is an absolute steal without really losing any of the essential features! Struggled initially to connect to the app but I think this was more due to our WIFI than the robot itself. Other than that super simple set up and easy to follow quick start guide, literally plug in turn on charge and you are away. Love the remote feature also and the fact it very easily finds its way home and back to base. Suction power is second to none and will defo help keep on top of those little bits and will pretty much reduce us down to only having to do a deep clean/manual hoover once a week, doesn’t struggle with pet hairs, glitter or food crumbs. Highly recommend!

I like it but I couldn’t connect it to Alexa or to the app so just left it as it is but cute little robot and not loud at all
