Just what I needed!
UPDATE Feb 21 2023 So I was able to chat with Amazon cuz it clearly says AMAZON gives you 90 guarantee for this item. And they are allowing return. There is a connection issue either internal to the male side or internal to the wire side. This is the wire connecting to the battery. But clearly won't successfully stay on. I didnt see others having this issue, I don't think, so maybe I was just unlucky with this one. I will try again. The coat is warm on its own, but I do want the heating feature. It was nice. :) UPDATE Feb 18 2023 I received this item on Jan 11, but didn't wear it until a day or two later. Well as of a few days ago, the heating is malfunctioning. Whenever I move or sit with the coat on the indicator lights flash blue, white, red and then it shuts off. This is just after a months use. Poor design in my opinion. I had tried plugging in the battery pack and putting the unit in with the connected end down so the connection wasn't being wiggled around and bent. Attempted to contact Amazon about the issue and am told Nope, outside the return window so now it appears I have a 150 piece of junk coat. VERY DISSAPOINTING. I was really hoping this was going to last at least a few years. When it did work, it was nice to be warm. But now......do not recommend. It would be nice if the company would reach out and try to make this right. This was a gift from my husband. He ordered me a large, but we decided, I should get the Xl so I have extra room for layering. I'm 5'2" and about 175#s. The sleeves are a good length and the body length of the coats goes to the top of my thighs, so my bottom is covered. I like that. The shoulder is a little bit big, but not a big deal. I could wear a base layer and a polar fleece under it if I wanted and still be very comfortable with no constriction. I love the high collar and the fiber fill is nice and fluffy, warm, without being over the top puffy. We live in far far northern Vermont and have 4 dogs that we walk daily, no matter the weather, in addition to going to work, events etc. , this coat will get lots of use. I've had this coat a few days now and have used the battery about 4 hours, without charging, and it finally died. I love this coat and am sorry I didn't discover it myself sooner! Last February I layered up with my name brand down coat and a insulated poncho over it to keep warm. I think I'll be in much better shape for the cold weather this year. The battery takes a few hours to charge, so thinking ahead and charging over night is a good idea. I like the fabric lined pockets that are warm and soft on their own, but also fact that the pockets are also warmed by the heating elements. The only things I'd add to this coat to make is PERFECT would be, another pocket, either inside or on the breast. I do love the warm lining in the included pockets, but I'd just like another spot to hold my phone, keys, lip balm etc. It would be great if it had a double zipper, so you could open the bottom while seated. Lastly, the hood has no way to tighten around your head/face. So thats kinda weird. I suppose I'll have to wear a beanie under when I am out in windy weather, which I fully expect to be. All in all, for the price and quality, I'm very happy. This will be my go to coat for the next 2 1/2 months, so, I'll update if there is anything else to add. Def seems worth it so far.

Great support and customer service for a high quality product!
Great customer support! I received this jacket for Christmas and loved the color, size, fit and over all quality. It just felt well made at first touch. Unfortunately, there was no battery pack included in the package. I reached out by email to Venustas customer support Christmas night to let them know I was missing the power pack and an email was waiting for me when i woke up the next morning. They asked me to confirm my item #, address and phone number and promised a replacement battery would be in my hands by 12/31. As promised, the battery arrived and now my jacket heats up perfectly. The great thing about this jacket is the number of heating elements in the front and back. The collar even has a heating element and it is a game changer!. Love the jacket. Very much recommend Venustas, and can speak with first hand experience about their high level of customer support and service.

Best purchase of 2025
I’ve owned this jacket for almost a year, and it’s hands down my favorite purchase of 2025. As a softball mom and a bariatric patient, I struggle with regulating my body temperature, and this jacket has been a total game changer. It kept me warm through long, cold softball seasons and chilly winter days. The battery lasts for hours even on the highest setting, and the jacket is surprisingly warm even without the heat turned on for milder days. I sized up to allow for layering, and as I continue to lose weight, I already plan to purchase another one and pass this one on to my husband. Excellent quality, reliable warmth, and absolutely worth the investment.

Good heated jacket with some caveats.
I just bought two of these heated jackets, one for my wife and one for me. Reading the comments we both ordered a size up, which was a good choice. I'm generally an XL/2XL, but I ordered a 3XL and it fits perfect. Same for my wife, usually a medium and the large fits fine. One strange thing is the two coats came with different battery packs. Mine has what appears to be a larger, older style battery with a 4 bar battery life indicator, wife's is newer and has a digital readout of remaining power on the side. Both work, though, but seem to take quite a while to charge using the included power brick. (edit - My jacket came with at 4800 MaH battery, wife's came with a 5000 MaH.) Jacket is well made. Polyester shell, with a reflective interior that will help retain both your body heat and the heat from the coils. The coat also has polyester filling, so don't expect a feather down warmth for this jacket. Hood is removable, and disappointingly does not have any draw ties to cinch it tight. If the wind blows hard, the hood is coming off your head. As I've just received it, I've only tested it for a few minutes so far. It heated up quickly and became too warm to wear in the house on high. So it should be good out in the cold. If anything changes in dependability or build quality, I will update this review. Edit - The other strange thing is that the coat's zipper is on the left instead of the right. Even my wife thought this was strange. Zipper works fine other than that.

Seems to run a tad bit small if you layer underneath.
The jacket looks and feels well made. Feels warm just as a jacket without the heat. Feels very comfortable. Waiting for the colder weather to return to see how long the battery will last. The jacket warms up great. For me it will be for farm work where I will be out in the wind.

Didn;t keep me any warmer whatsoever quite honestly
I guess I'm the outlier here. Didn't really keep me warm at all . Not enough heat zones but looks like all the different ones I checked out had basically the same heat zones. Also no heat zones on sleeves. Also the zipper being woman's style (zipper on left instead of right,) I had a hard time zipping it up. Also no pull strings on hood so the hood is wide open to catch any wind and renders the heated neck portion useless. Also fully charged battery I got 2 hrs the first night, 1 hr the next morning =3 hrs with all zones on and then already needed to be recharged. The only good thing is it kept my hands warm. I returned it

I bought one of their vests 2 years ago. Fantastic product...lifesaver in extra cold weather...just got the jacket...same high quality and I like it...one tiny flaw...there is no drawstring at the waist, if it had one this would make it perfect.

I bought my jacket in September but didn’t get a chance to actually use it until November. Canadian winter as expected was harsh. Right off the dot, the jacket was really helpful. It was very efficient and did a great job at keeping me warm on the job. I work outside so the jacket is well loved. I had issues with my battery after 2 months of use. Just like any other product, I guess there’s always that one off from a batch and unfortunately I got that one off. But fortunately for me, Venustas offered such a great customer service and was quick at sending a replacement of the battery. Their customer service is exceptional and they offer great warranty coverage. Been using the jacket for 5 months now and I’m enjoying every bit of it. I would recommend this jacket to everyone!

I really wanted to love this jacket as much as my original heated jacket (from a different brand) but it fell short for me in a couple of ways. The positives: The jacket overall is warm even without the heating turned on. Battery life seems okay to me as well - I wear it a few times a week with the heat at medium for about 15-45mins and I find that I will need to charge it by the end of the week which I find acceptable. The winner for me though is the neck warmer. It gives you that melty feeling when you're cold and someone wraps a warm blanket fresh out of the dryer on you. The negatives: The pocket warmers aren't that effective. I feel like I really have to focus to be able to feel the heat on my hands but even then, sometimes I'm wondering if I'm just imagining the heating sensation. I don't love that there are two buttons for the heating elements. I get that it's so you can control separate sides but if I want everything on, I have to hold down one button until it's on, and then repeat with the other. It just takes that many seconds longer to do this. I also tried holding both buttons down at the same time but whichever one you just happened to push ever so slightly faster will be the one that turns on. I would have preferred one button that cycles through the options but maybe that would be too complicated. After wearing it once or twice, I consistently get these pieces of white fluff peeking out of the jacket. It looks like a small harmless piece of cotton stuck to the jacket, but when you pull on it a super long piece will come out. See pics for examples. If you're new to the heated jacket world, this is totally fine. If you've had a chance to try others then you may find that this one falls a little short.

I would like to say it is perfect, but it was dead out of the box.battry won't charge at allit shows 75% cargedbut won't power the coat, won't charge any further no matter how long I leave it plugged inbwen plugged in for 2 hours now and nothing not even a flashing charge light. The coat itself is nicely made no messy stitching seams are all nice zipper works smoothly, it just didn't heat up, after going through the trouble shooting video I suspect a bad battery. I contacted customer support as soon as I figured out it wasn't working waiting on a reply. Seller is sending me a new battery. I was able to power up the coat with my sock battery, but they are only 5V not 7.2V so heat wasn't getting to its full potential but more than enough to keep the damp chill away.
