The silicone end tips are stretchy and grippy. They fit the straight temples of my Concorde.

This sunglass retainer is light and durable. I find it is a perfect compliment to Costa sunglasses. Holds your glasses in place so you don’t lose them when fishing

If you've got large profile temple tips or have a flared out ear piece, then this retainer is not going to work for you. It is likely to split open whilst trying to snug them on the flare. For larger flared out temple tips, go with the 'Costa Del Mar unisex-adult C-line Retainer'. I recently acquired the Saint Laurent frame (SL 505), and it has low profile skinny temple tips. This bowline silicone retainer is perfect with a nice adjustable bead that slides up and down. If your bead slips off, you can get your handy Hemostat Forceps Locking Tweezers Clamps and pull the bead back through with no issues. Some things to keep in mind. if you produce a good bit of sebum or oil on your face and behind your ears, the silicon retainer will break down and disintegrate over time since your oily skin is acidic compared to the silicone rubber. To increase the lifespan of your retainers. wash your glasses and retainer regularly under warm soapy water, and pat dry with cotton fiber towl or some other means, etc. Whatever you use, it should not scratch up your lens or framesl
