I purchased this desk mat to help protect the surface of my new work desk and also to add a nice aesthetic touch to it.I went with this one as a temporary one until I can find a high quality one, but after receiving this, I don’t feel I need to, as the quality is excellent considering the price. It’s not too thin but not too thick either. A lovely soft touch finish to it and my mouse glides across it effortlessly.Extremely happy with this!

After the pandemic struck, like many other people, I've been working from home.I set up a home office and bought myself a new desk, but found that my keyboard and mouse were starting to scratch the surface and I didn't want to cause too much damage.I found this desk protector and it fits in beautifully. It's easy-to-clean, hardwearing and sits well on the desk – It doesn't feel like a cumbersome addition.My concern was that it wouldn't feel great quality given the price, but I was wrong. It's a great addition to the desk and a product I'd strongly recommend.

PROS:Cheap - get what you pay for.Good size - other mats have similar size optionsFlattens out quickly after being unrolledCONS:Thin and flimsy i.e. no cushion to the mat. It often just slips and curls up whilst resting your arms/elbows on it.Edges are rough - a big problem if you constantly rest your arms/wrists on the desk as the edge catches your skin and it feels quite sharp. The material has just been cut without any smoothing of the edges so it's rough and very annoyingMouse drags - I found the mouse drags a bit too much and the mat makes the mouse feel heavier to move. Not good if you spend long hours using it. If you're hoping for it to glide smoothly then forget it.OVERALL:If you want something cheap and don't spend long at your desk then maybe this is good enough for you. However, if you spend a decent amount of time working at the desk then avoid this one. If you wear a sleeveless top like a t-shirt or you rest your wrists on the desk edge then be prepared for the edges of the mat to catch your skin. Overall it just isn't suitable for me. Very disappointed considering it has thousands of positive reviews - very odd.

Watch the video if you are interested my the feeling. I really the pad, it has a good grip so the mouse and keyboard won’t slip. The material is soft so be careful. The price is unbeatable so you can replace it without spending a fortune.

Wanted to try a cheaper alternative of a desk pad I wanted as they are a “nice to have” and not an essential. Unfortunately this was too much of a compromise and will be sent back. Edges were badly curling and felt cheap. Bought the more expensive 1st option (felt material) and I was not disappointed.
