Absolutely First Class!
This superb 5 inch kitchen knife is wrought from high carbon X50Cr15MoV German stainless steel that has an edge of HRC56 / ±2 on the Rockwell Hardness Scale. As I am knowledgeable of high-end stainless steel, I commend this kitchen knife to anyone who desires great quality at a very reasonable low price for just £20.99 The knife sits comfortably in the hand. Its Pakkawood riveted handle is black, smooth and perfectly balanced. Having demonstrated the knife steel's sharpness on a sheet of A4 paper, the steel shredded the paper with its razor-sharp edge. Just imagine how good it will be in the kitchen! I paid full price and am not a 'paid shill'. Thank you for reading.

Love the brand
This is the second knife I bought of this brand. The kiritsuki blade is really nice and this boning nice is also great. I didn't even have to sharpen the blade, it comes really sharp. I barely stroked the blade across the chicken and it sliced effortlessly through the meat. The knife is so sharp that I'm a little skiddish around it, and place the blade between the plastic slits meant to hold plates up.

Happy husband
My husband who is our resident chef was more than happy with this. Came nicely packaged. Of course, I had to show ID at the door which is to be expected. Would order from this seller again.

Durable and sharp
Nice size for paring and general kitchen use. Blade stays sharp and after almost 11 months use, it still performs well. Easy to clean and well made comfortable knife

Decent little knife
As a chef who has many good knives.. all incredibly razor sharp I thought I'd buy this for my wife as she was scared of my own knives being so big. Must say I've decided to add this to my collection to lol.. does the job. Comfortable for most tasks remains sharp after about 6 months.

I've never had a good bread knife, always those thin plastic handle bendy kind. When I started baking sourdough, the knife I had couldn't even scratch the crust, so I knew I needed a new knife. My favorite youtuber's knife recommendation was WAY too expensive though! This knife is well worth the price in my opinion. Very solid feel, and cuts right through a hard sourdough crust with ease. Like others have said, the handle has a bit of a ridge where the tang of the knife (very thick tang) and the handle parts aren't exactly the same size, or it hasn't been polished down or something, but really not a problem for me. This knife is solid, heavy, sharp and durable.

Très bon couteau d'office. Plaisant en main. Aiguisé en sortie de boîte. On peut même obtenir un meilleur tranchant après un passage sur la pierre. Très bon rapport qualité/prix.

I’m not a chef so I don’t have much to say but it is a great knife and I will/have bought more. Yes, I would recommend to a friend.

I purchased this for my man who is a chef. As some of you may know, chefs are very particular about their knifes, and even though he wasn't looking for the best knife out there, it had to fit a number of 'must-haves'. It had to be a full tang knife, it had to have a wood handle, it had to be made of German Steel, and it had to be simple in design (no Damascus blade, no insets in the handle, no flashy colours, etc). I'm happy to say that the Tuo Blackhawk Nakiri knife exceeded his expectations! The packaging was really well done and extra consideration was made to keep the blade safe and secure. A handy wipe cloth was also provided in the box, though I am told chefs don't really use it. General comments from the chef is that the knife itself is well balanced and well-made, the blade is extremely sharp and has held its edge over the past month while being used daily, and the handle is surprisingly really comfortable. The knife handle was completely smooth and the pins do not protrude and are not damaging to the skin, unlike what some of the other reviewers mentioned. I thought I would share the recipient's comments (since he is a chef) in case it could help other potential buyers. If you can get this knife for under $40 as I did, it's a great bargain for the quality of knife you are getting.
