These are very nice quality, cute, medium-sized plates in a smooth ceramic. They are not (in my opinion) full-size dinner type plates, but more of a salad-dessert size. I purchased them for my cat's dry food, as she likes to 'scarf & barf' by eating rapidly from a bowl. I decided to spread out her kibble - so she could graze more slowly and wanted these cute plates to match her other dining options. Love these plates! Easy to wash/dry, I do them by hand.
