Initially I was sceptic if a milk powder would be beneficial at all for my purpose. Background: I have been taking care of a semi-feral cat colony that developed on our property. Being the animal lover I am, I can't ignore these furry fluff balls, so for many years I have been dealing with feral and stray cats that decide to adopt me or were born near our property and then showed up. I feed them, give them shelter, take them to the vet, get them spayed & neutered. Easy with those who become friendly, a nightmare with those who stay skittish. This milk powder has helped me greatly not only to supplement mama cats with extra nutrition during or after pregnancy, or feed little kittens directly with it, but also when someone in the colony is sick. I do believe that this powdered milk with its ingredients has helped me get these ferals to recover quicker. I usually provide this milk in an extra bowl, but also mix the powder in with the kibble and canned food mix, so everyone will get some of it. I do this religiously over a period of days when I see that several cats seem to have a 'cold' or other issues. The value for the money seems adequate when you compare it to the expensive smaller batched you usually buy at regular stores. I have been using this powder for ca 2 years now and believe the quality to be good. I have fed kittens that weren't thriving well, and they all took it easily from a little nursing bottle. The adult cats come running the moment I put a small bowl down, so apparently it is mouseketeer approved.

I absolutely love this product t for my puppies and pregnant or nursing mom. I have used this when puppies were not latching on to the mama and they flourished on it. The price is decent for the product I think. It mixes well with warm water not so much with cool water. After puppies I have noticed that it definitely helps with mama and keeping the milk supply. I have ordered probably around 10-15 bags and will continue to order it. Especially when it goes on sale :-)
