The only minor downside I’ve noticed is with the ammo storage when it’s not seated in the launcher. The rounds don’t always stay put in the magazine on their own and can pop out unexpectedly, which can be a bit annoying when handling or storing them separately. It’s not a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of. Overall, still a strong 5-star product. Reliable, well made, and effective for its intended purpose—with just a small quirk that doesn’t outweigh the positives.

This Byrna launcher SD exceeded expectations as far as quality. So much so I am debating on getting a 2nd one to leave in the bed room for the Mrs. While I’m at work for my 2 week hitch. I like the fact that you can replace the upper slide with one that has fiber optic sights. It was packaged very well. And I received what I expected to. If you are looking for a less leather option to carry this IS the one! The CO2 cartridge is punctured on the first trigger pull. My wife bought a different brand and you have to puncher the cartridge manually before you shoot. Time is precious in those moments. And if you puncture the CO2 before hand, what happens if it loses all or some of the pressure when you really need it no good! I sound like a sales person for this company I know, but I swear I’m not I work in oil and gas so it’s important to me that my wife has something to protect herself with while I’m gone for two weeks. They are a little bit pricier than some of the competitors but once you hold it, you’ll know why you cannot go wrong.

It's a Byrna, no complaints here. Nice home defense piece, kind of bulky if you want to carry it I would recommend a smaller one.

It is an alternative to a bad outcome. sad that the different loads are unavailable in some states.

The deliver was fast . The byrna is very user friendly. I am impressed with the power this has and my wife now feels safe when I am not at home.

Gives a sense of feeling safe. Non lethal is good in reference to as a form of protection. If you cannot have a real firearm.

Very nice launcher, and the kit is well stocked for a beginner. I wish I had waited just a bit longer, as they came out with the smaller carry version. Too late to return / exchange it, so I'll just leave in my nightstand. Recommend this product but you need to know, it's bigger than a regular CC launcher.
