I got this LEOTEC Portable AM/FM Radio for my husband for Christmas and he actually uses it every day — which says a lot! Right out of the box the reception was much better than we expected. We don’t get great signals in our area, but this radio pulls in stations clearly, both AM and FM. The big tuning knob and clear dial make it easy to find stations, even for someone who isn’t tech-savvy. The speaker is bigger than it looks and the sound is clear and loud enough for everyday listening. It’s not a hi-fi system, but for a little radio it does a solid job. The dual power option (batteries or plug-in) is super handy, we keep it plugged in most of the time but can grab it and take it anywhere without fuss. The earphone jack is a nice touch too if you want quieter listening. Overall, this radio does exactly what it’s supose to do.

A truly great radio. It’s very easy to use with a single button for each function. It sounds fantastic and even makes a decent amount of bass. It can get quite loud without distorting but also sounds good at low volumes. The A/C power supply is built into radio chassis so it uses an old school plug instead of a wall wart which was always the hallmark of a good radio. The display is clear and bright with a white backlight. This is the best budget small portable radio I’ve tried in a long while. This will be my go to travel, beach, and camping radio for sure. I highly recommend this Leotec radio.

This is a great little radio at a great price. It's perfect for seniors or anyone who struggles with eye sight. It's easy to operate and has larger channels to see. The sound quality is good and I appreciate that it uses both a D cell battery or the power cable. I'd recommend it.

Purchased so I’d have a battery operable radio for when there is no power. I also put in on when I’m not home for my pets. It serves it’s purpose and some static but I do live in a wooded area.

Sturdy, easy operation, clear sound, noise level at the AM setting very low to nonexistent. Good find, good price.

Good sound; strong reception; analog radio. No nonsense installation, perfect for seniors. Lightweight, good-looking, portable. Bought it to substitute for recently purchased Dreamsky radios--each of which stopped working after a week of use. This radio seems quite dependable.
