Columbia Sportswear Women's Alpine Vista Jacket

This coat fits perfectly. It is a bit "square" and not as tapered as many women's jackets are and I am happy with that. The jacket is water proof, warm, and comfortable. There are several pockets, including one on the inside that can be used for ski goggles, hat, etc. and another on the chest that can be used for your ski pass and I.D. I was worried that the fur on the hood would look cheap, but it does not. I have received several compliments on the jacket and am very pleased with it.

Quality is normal. It does not have a pocket on the hend, so during skiing it will be a discomfort. Size is as expected.

Normally Columbia jackets are friendly to those of us with hips and that's what draws me to their products. I ordered a large size for my hips but while the jacket barely zipped at my hips, the top was way too bulky. The sleeves bagged like chicken wings and I could probably fit my ski helmet inside the chest with how much extra room was there. I ended up returning it for a different Columbia jacket from a different line that had a more sporty fit.

Took on Patagonia travel, worked well most of time however even with layers I felt cold especially across upper shoulders in rain & wind. I am Apple shape with thick upper arms & ample chest, fit was great in upper part but a bit snug around waist limiting thickness of under layers. For price I’m happy, packed down to small layer in suitcase. If I lived in cold area would be good everyday jacket

Good coat for the price. Purchased it for skiing, but also for everyday use once back in the land of no mountains. It kept me just as warm as my much more expensive North Face used to! It has an inside pass pocket, as well as a google pocket and snow skirt - good features for something at this price point. Size is pretty spot-on. Be aware there is a BIG difference between the sizes.

Color (Bluebell) is much darker than appears online, not a light shade at all. Hood fur is strangely positioned and matted. Very boxy shape. Definitely going back.

Bought this for my wife, it looked baggy at first but the draw strings helped with that, the material also seems to be thin but we spent all day on the slopes and she was warm as toast. A good purchase.

I love this jacket. I got to use it today as we just got a huge snowfall. It's lightweight, but warm as toast and keeps me dry too.
