Wil this cable reduce noise from my canon t3i going into my tascam dr60d?

I imagine you actually mean the opposite - Going from the Line out of the recorder into a Mic In on the camera should have it reduced - but unless the t3i has a headphone output, you cannot use this cable to get audio from the camera into the recorder, and it would probably lower it too much, actually. This would be better suited for getting audio from another device, like your TASCAM, and sending its audio to the camera. But it won't reduce noise - it's attenuating the signal level from Line to Mic, meaning you won't blow out the input and can actually turn the input down and up on the camera, rather than lowering it and making no difference on the camera like a normal cable would.

I'd like to use this to send an audio signal from my macbook pro's headphone jack into a zoom h1 (to prevent overdriving the h1) will this cable work?

Yes, this will work for that, but you should be able to set the input sensitivity on the H1 to line rather than mic.

I have a helmet mic set up for my dji osmo action and due to it's close proximity to my mouth, i experience frequent clipping. would this help?

If the cause of the clipping is due to to much current then this attenuate cable may help. Please keep in mind that this cable attenuates the signal and it must be placed so the signal travels in the direction indicated on the cable. I am not familiar with your setup so this suggestion is only a guess. It is worth the try.

I ordered 3, none of them worked.

Gear: Sony ZV-1 - Mic: Rode Videomicro Compact I've ordered one cable (at first) to replace the Rode cable since it's not shielded enough, causing a bit of static noise. The Movo MV-RC100 had the "Microphone Attenuator Cable" in the name, and it came recommended by YouTubers for the Sony ZV-1. It didn't work 🤣 - I had to increase the "audio rec level" to the max, to barely hear my voice, and ofc the static noise got A LOT STRONGER & LOUDER. (vs the Rode original cable, audio rec level at 11 with great voice & can barely hear the static noise). So I've returned it and ordered another 2 cables, hoping that one of them would work. Same story. I've tried them on my friend's DSLR; didn't work too. Maybe it's my bad luck - but that's my experience. Good luck to you all & I hope you'll find your cable. Happy recording.

I saw a video on YouTube that recommended this product. I needed to connect my Rode Wireless GO II transmitter to DJ mixer or audio console. Line signal is too much for Rode and I needed this attenuator so I don't fry the transmitter. It's -35 db so it's pretty substantial. After using on event I can safely say that it does it's job. I don't notice any hiss or loss of quality. Very useful tool and I'm pretty happy with results.

Wichtiges Kabel um mein Rode Wireless Go II an ein Mischpult anzuschließen. Der Preis erscheint mir aber viel zu hoch. Unverständlich, dass es anscheinend kein preiswerteres Konkurrenzprodukt gibt.
