I bought it to build a formwork plank. I used it with 50mm nails and for this project it worked perfectly, had no problem with nailing, even with one hand (of course you must hold it very strongly!) It is true, it is sensible for electric power. You must have a good electrical circuit with 16A breakers at least, and a good quailty extension cord of 30m maximum. Above 30m it won’t work correctly! The nailer gun is enough strong, nothing was broken or injured, even i used it outdoor, in rain, and very difficult circumstances. The 50mm nails are fixing enough strongly. In sum I’m very satisfied, I think it’s a very good solution for fast secondary nailing.

A very good nailgun, but im missing a depthindicator. You can only adjust the depth the nails go in, by the pressure you put on the gun, wich is unreliable. Pratice pressure on a pice of scrap wood. Easy to use, easy to reload and pretty light and handy.

Now I have it I wonder to myself why I waited for ages to buy one? A great little gun. I was going to buy a cheaper model from Toolstation but saw the reviews on Amazon for this one and took the plunge. Was it worth it? Yes! I am self employed in building and property renovation and this thing comes in handy in many ways and speeds up the process of work. To give you an idea of its power....with a 50mm brad (18g very thin!!) it fired through a 28mm thick piece of timber with 15mm that went into my house brick mortar but 7mm creased up on the face of timber. The house mortar was solid though, no weak mix. Bottom line is that I should have bought one earlier. I have also purchased the 16G Tacwise air nailer since...now thats another great buy........

Nice product and looks like well thought out design , but - kept tripping workshop and house breaker every time I tried to use it. Used the amazon spec and description to decide to buy at the Amazon spec, After receiving and finding the problem read the Tacwise manual no comments about circuit breakers. THEN after Web searching found that when firing this generates a spike that could/ will trip breakers on standard rated Circuit breakers. I have main house and workshop breakers and both trip - to get to use this I would need to upgrade both with cost of an electrician and new MCB's. I have large workshop machinery (jet Lathe, Bandsaw, etc) that have always worked fine with my current MCB's and I cannot afford the cost of upgrading. This requirement SHOULD be noted on teh amazon page and called out up front on the TACwise website.

WELL!!! what can I say? It is my first nail gun and wasn't sure if the price was good or what to expect for the money but looking at other reviews this was a winner. And it is a winner, what a great bit of kit. I am building a shed with feather board and there is no way I would have done it without a nail gun. Very well built sturdy and precise, done over 1000 nails without a hitch, maybe 2 jams, and jams are very easy to clear just flip open the red catch on the front and your jammed nail just drops out. This is one of my favourite tools now I have to look for things to use it on LOL. Highly recommended.
