Westmark Germany Non-Stick Thermoplastic Spatula, 11.8-inch (Red/Black) -

Initial thought looking at it out of the box I thought it seemed thin/flimsy, especially in contrast to my OXO and kitchen aid spatulas which have a thicker profile. However, the plastic is ridgid enough that it gives the impression of durability but can't say for sure since I haven't had it for very long. Has washed well on top rack of dishwasher and in the bottom rack silverware basket. The light weight is appreciated since I have Carpal T.S, and the slimmer profile makes it take up a minimal amount of space in a drawer or small tote I take camping. Works great for manipulating food like eggs, burgers, breaking up sausage/ground meat, and flipping pancakes in shallow and deep frying pans. The various stove heat settings have not yet phased this spatula. Liked it so much I ordered a second one. If any issues arise I will follow up. Update 4/8/2025 I now have 4 of these because I like them so much. Only thing I would caution is to not use it with cast iron, those hold a more intense heat than my cephalon or ceramic coated cast iron pans which is why I think it caused one to melt the edge a little. You are paying for quality, it is worth it imo.

Fantastic spatula. It's small-ish. Not a giant pancake turner(although you could absolutely turn smaller pancakes). The shape is good, it's comfortable in your hand. It's sturdy. It has a little flex, isn't completely rigid, but is sturdy enough for heavier foods. The reason I bought three is that I had one but it was in the dishwasher frequently(because I was using it all the time) when I wanted to use it so I bought another one. Then I was at my sister's house and her spatula was a sad sad spatula so I got her one. She also gives good reviews. 👍 When mine eventually wears out(mine is a couple years old and still doing great) I'll get another one of these.

Great spatula. It has a good ergonomic design (angle, size, & shape), and it helps turn the food over in the pan with ease. I noticed that the heat resistance works well. It is also made in Germany which is a plus. I expect it to last me awhile.

This is a bit hard for my nonstick pans (I am Extremely particular about even the tiniest scratches) but it it really great for stainless steel. Very sturdy and attractive.

It's light weight, perfect size, and flexible spatula. It looks like a good quality one and not flimsy. I use this daily and has no stretches so far. Looks like stratch resistance. This makes so much easier to make fried eggs when I flipping the egg and it does not stick!

This is, hands-down, the best non-metal spatula I have owned, in decades of cooking. It is basically perfect. And I am very picky about my tools. It does not melt in normal use like so many other non-metal utensils. The edge is beveled and tapered, almost to a sharpish edge. It is also the ideal amount of flexible--not too stiff to slide under thin foods, yet it's stiff enough to chop or break up various items in the pan (like ground meat). The handle is very comfortable to hold, just the right size in the hand, with a nicely textured surface to give a grip. The length is also ideal--not so long that you loose fine control, but long enough to keep one's hand away from the hot stuff. Even the angles of this spatula and its ergonomics are remarkably great! If anything ever happened to this spatula, I would replace it immediately. In fact, I plan to get another one to put in storage, just in case.

First nonstick spatula that will flip eggs effortlessly

Best non-stick spatula I have ever owned! Purchased almost 3 years ago in July 2020 and it is still in great shape. very nice design that flips like a charm and is resistant to hi-heat. In fact I like it so much I'm purchasing one for my Son, whos family seems to go through the cheep China knock-off brands like hot cakes. If there is any drawback it is the soft red part on handle will mare if left to long on the edge of a very hot skillet, however this has not effected the form, fit, or function in any way than esthetics...highly recommend this product.

If you leave this spatula in your pan on the edge, it'll lie on the red part, which is very soft and ultra sensitive to heat. After using it a few times it was full of stripes and deformities. Really doesn't happen with my other spatula so I'd really recommend against this one if you ever plan on quickly lying down the spatula, even for a moment.

Die Kante ist leicht abgeschrägt, sodass man auch unter empfindliche Speisen wie Fisch oder Omeletts kommt, ohne sie zu beschädigen. Die Hitzeresistenz ist top – selbst bei hohen Temperaturen bleibt der Wender formstabil. Reinigung: Einfach unter warmem Wasser abspülen oder in die Spülmaschine geben – kein Verfärben, kein Verziehen. Fazit: Der Westmark Pfannenwender ist ein kleines Küchenwerkzeug mit großer Wirkung. Wer Wert auf Qualität, Funktionalität und Langlebigkeit legt, wird hier fündig. Für mich ein klarer Favorit – und das zu einem sehr fairen Preis.
