Wrangler Men's 13mwz Cowboy Cut Original Fit Jean

I normally buy 33Wx30L in the Wrangler prewashed jeans. I ordered this Rigid Indgo Cowboy Cut 13MWZ in my normal 33Wx30L and the waist was really tight so perhaps it is just this particular pair of jeans were made a little undersized. I could tell by the stiff feel of the material that these were unwashed and likely to shrink when washed.I searched the reviews here and tried to contact support but got no sense of how much shrinkage to expect nor could I find any sizing chart to tell me what size to order to have it shrink to fit. I grew up in the 50's and 60's and you always bought jeans oversized and washed them 3 times to shrink to fit - and any clothing store could tell you exactly how much oversize to buy so it would shrink to your size. Apparently that knowledge has gotten lost to time. So that's why I'm leaving this review.I ordered a pair in 34Wx32L and have washed them once so far and by the amount of shrinkage after one wash, I am hopeful that two more washes will bring these right to my 33Wx30L size. Wash them inside out. They will come out very wrinkled - iron those wrinkles and creases out with a steam iron. After you've washed them 3 times they will soften enough you won't need to iron them again. But if you don't iron them after washing the first few times those wrinkles/creases will get set in place -- I mean they will stay creased at the same places thru subsequent washes and become permanent and you'll never get them out. Ironing them right after the wash/dry will allow them to fold/crease in random places each wash and soften up without the annoying creases.

Sizing can be tricky, I found these in store and ended up actually needing my normal size so I returned my order. They do fit a tad tighter on the thighs but depending on how you plan of caring for them (heat wash & dry) or (cold wash & air dry) I wouldn’t overthink the sizing. They will absolutely shrink if you apply heat but nothing crazy, maybe order a size up for length and waist if you don’t want to air dry

Great fit and they come a little stiff which is okay because when I used to buy them in the department store, they were stiff there. So today I put them in the wash on cold water to relax them. The fit is great and just what I was looking for and a great price for a pair of jeans which would have costed more in the department store.

Perfect fit, the size table really helped me get the right size, comfortable yet sturdy, the color gets clearer as you wash it but thats to be expected from raw denim.I work arround a lot of clay, yet there are no permanent stains on the fabric,zero Stretchiness from this fabric, it does shrink a bit on the first wash so id recommend soaking them in a bit of warm water with fabric softener and wearing them until dry on a hot summer day, so it forms to your body.

I would advise ordering at least one size if not 2 sizes larger in the waist …..also the denim use is ultra heavy like years ago….
