Sturdy, comfortable, and good at cutting. What else could I ask for
Amazing cleaver. It holds its edge well even when used on different surfaces, the blade is easy to clean and sharpen with a whetstone. It feels very sturdy to hold and is the perfect size for a home chef’s cleaver. It does not look like anything super special, but it is worth its weight and definitely holds up against the competition as it is comfortable to use and I have no worries about accidentally damaging it. I recommend to everyone who needs to cut a lot of meat or veg as it speeds the process up amazingly.

Wow just wow
Never owning a proper meat clever before, this has to be something to behold! ask me why? Well, firstly the price for the quality. It cost me 17 pounds sterling for a solid piece that feels of a great quality about it in everyway. Revisiting the price on amazon to buy another for someone else it had been further reduced to a little over 13 pounds, I scratch my head and wonder. It's an endorsed meat clever by Ken Hom who is one of the most exceptional Chefs of all East Asian cuisine, hubris and wise but a great embassador for that sort of food. The clever has a great handle, it blends nicely and is not of natural wood but who seriously cares when you feel the quality knowing that this handle will not break or crack and feels lovely when chopping meats/veggies and anything else. It's super sharp and like any fantastic clever it will slowly wear itself millimetre by millimetre as you sharpen it time and time again. One massive hint is to sharpen the blade off the back of most plates and certain stlye bowls never needing a purpose built knife sharpener or stone. For £13-£17 this should last at least a good 7 years from constant sharpening and wearing down the clever until it's too small to effectively use, 10 out of 10 for being a perfect clever in literally any situation.

Sharp and well-balanced
This Chinese-style cleaver has a slim-sectioned blade, but enough weight to be well-balanced and easy to use. This style of blade is incredibly versatile and can be used for chopping,but also for slicing and even simple boning-out. The other great benefit is that you can use the large, flat blade to transfer chopped ingredients to the pan. I hone the blade with a couple of passes on a diamond steel each time I use it to keep a perfect edge on it. Recommended.
